Ugh... that thing went down like a ****ing meteor. And for such a "small plane", that sure created a big ****ing explosion. Terrible.

I saw this morning that it was Mexican nationals on the plane. Flying to Branson, and then on to Mexico. RIP

That is why I am unreasonable afraid and am driving my ass to Reno/Tahoe instead of flying in April.

driving is orders of magnitude more likely to result in a deadly accident than flying, especially if you're flying commercial

Just took off, so probably had 1,400 lbs. of fuel onboard still

Yep, it had just enough to make it to Branson I would guess (plus some for incidental flying).
