Upside for Steelers fans: If he's better than Russ, you might do decent.

Another Upside for Steelers fans: He could be atrocious enough to finally lead to Mike Tomlin leaving.

Yeah, if you go back four years.

It amazes me that ANYBODY would want hire this guy. His agent must be a Jedi knight with a PhD in voodoo.

Right now the Steelers have Mason Rudolph as their 2025 plan.

Going from herpes to AIDS ain't the answer.

But again, **** the $tealer$, so I'm all for it.

They'd be better off drafting a guy and red shirting him, with Rudolph at the reins in 2025 IMO

Rodgers is fools gold at this point, a huge cancerous dickhead who doesn't wanna put in the work and lacks any semblance of leadership qualities... can't believe anyone still wants him

The only Aaron Rogers update I want is when he inevitably ODs and dies from licking toads.

The Steelers will be irrelevant for a long time. They have already won their allotted Super Bowls.

But congrats on keeping Tomlin’s .500 streak alive.

I'm in favor of it.

They're always just good enough to be a pain in the ass for Baltimore and/or Cincy.

I mean would you prefer they go be the Jets and just roll over and die for Buffalo each year? New England?

Nah -- keep doing what you're doing, Pittsburgh. You're no threat to win a game that matters but you're good enough to be a thorn in the sides of teams I'd prefer see lose games.

I wouldn't want Aaron Rodgers if I'm a Steelers fan, but that's because I would be wanting the team to stop with this barely above .500 shit and reboot. But they just acquired DK and seem to be standing up a decent team right now with no QB. So if you're going to do that and still try, I can understand the logic of ALSO adding Rodgers.

He's probably still better than 1/2 the league. And would definitely be if he'd adjust his game a bit.

He's someone that can't be as protective of his TD/INT rate or his completion percentage anymore. He can't move around well enough to guy the time that made some of those easy tosses for him.

He needs to be willing to stand in there, take some risks, occasionally take a hit and/or fire the ball OOB and deal with the ding to his completion%.

But I think Rodgers is more aware of his stats than any QB in the league and he's used to having the mobility to keep those pretty sparkling. Its hard to argue with it -- it won him a couple MVPs when he probably shouldn't have. But after the achilles, he just doesn't have that ability anymore.

The only way it makes sense to me, is if they use their 1 on a QB and have Rodgers as the bridge for a year or two

I refuse to believe he'll ever take another team anywhere meaningful, but if he improves them enough to make them a serious pain in the ass for the likes of Baltimore and Cincy then go for it, I guess

Wouldn't be surprised if Pittsburgh drafted Jaxon Dart to sit behind Rodgers...

As far as arm talent oh yeah, I would even one up you there and say his arm is still better than 90% of the league

But man every other facet of his game is garbage - his intangibles first and foremost - dude simply doesn't give a shit unless it glorifies him

So yeah I've been swayed to a point here, if he makes them a bigger headache for the AFCE for a while, the Rooneys should probably go ahead and pull the trigger
