Prayer because only God can heal you now.

Sorry to hear it man! I had hernia surgery years ago for one massive hernia, it's not in any way, shape or form anything you ever want to do again. I can somewhat relate. Take it slow and take whatever meds they give you. I hope you get well soon.

A 3 part cocktail of Valium, vodka and Vicodin should help.

Do not put any Deadpool movies on, and for the love of god avoid the Epic Fail or Funny threads.

I think I might have a Hernia as well. Seems like a lot of men go through this.

I don't feel anything popping out of my gut when I flex but if I bend the right way I feel a core muscle start tighten up in pain.

OP what were your symptoms?

I found sleeping in the recliner was the only way to sleep. Don't push things too early. Take a full two weeks off from work

Went in for 2 yesterday…woke up and they repaired 5.

It’s been 24hrs….Im pretty impatient to pain. Antifreeze is not working?

Tips from the busted gut pros?

I had 3 done at once.

First day was ROUGH. The thing that helped the most was pushing a pillow into my abs for support as I walked a lot.

11 days after I was squatting 405 for reps.

The first 2-3 days are the worst from my experience, it starts to get a lot better after that. Definitely don’t rush your recovery, listen to your doctor and err on the side of caution, you don’t want a recurrence

Recovering from surgery on Monday. Take the Tylenol on schedule. Walk as much as you can, eat really safe foods, you don't want to sneeze or laugh.

Yes 5.

Luckily the gems are safe…these were all in my gut. 2 were visible from the outside. They knocked me out and raped me with some robot who found 3 more.

I’ve never been this sore from a surgery….cant do anything without your core. ****!

Had one repaired by robot a few years ago. Sucked bad the first couple days, but a week out was feeling good.

Worst part was the lengthy weight restrictions. Not being able to lift weights for what felt like months and my Dr telling me to ease back in was torture and I lost a ton of muscle that took a long time to get back at my age.

At least this part of my body is chuggin along just fine. I hear these are no fun at all.

My hernias were brought on by my falling and breaking my left hip and then struggling with recovery. Walking and working outside seemed to help my hip and leg get stronger. So I cut down several trees including a few cedars. One of the cedars had a very nice log, straight, and not a bunch of branches, and about 25 feet long and 16 inches across. I was used to being able to pick it up. Well, when I tried I was not able to use my left leg because it hurt incredibly. I used my stubbornness to lift the log even though it hurt from my gut to my ball sack.

That’s dumb.
