Heck, I barely watched the Red Sox last year and they got to a handful of outs away from the WS.

I'm a "pro football is no. 1, everything else sucks" sports fan, by and large.

What happens when the Patriots winning tradition goes down the drain. :hmmm:

What's up with that anyway? Where have all the Laker Haters gone? Where are all the smack talkers now?

First quarter fouls:

Houston-8
L.A.-1 (and it was an intentional foul by Kobe with 2 seconds left in the quarter!)

The refs do tend to give the benefit of the doubt to teams with more talent, teams that are better coached, and teams that are playing at a higher level... The rest of the NBA doesn't have a chance.

Plus you left out my favorite argument. The NBA needs the Lakers in the finals... ROFL

I would say there is a healthy interest. That isn't jettio pimpin the Queens is it? :doh!:

I like the Kings because KC's Anthony Peeler plays for them. I think the Sac team with Brad Miller and w/o this year's version of Chris Webber could give the Lakers a series.

Sacramento sure looked a lot better w/o Webber, he looks slow and last night's game against the Mavs was the first game I saw with him and he had some stupid turnovers.

Kings made a late game run with Webber on the pine and that is where he should be most of the time.

Lakers are looking good, no doubt about that.

The same thing that was going on when they didn't have a winning tradition. I'll watch every game and curse the whole damn time.

Seriously -- I've been a fan since they were the joke of the NFL. They were the Bungles before the Bengals were the Bungles.

That sport was a lot more spectator friendly before they started wearing the baggy hip-hop style shorts. :banghead:

Stoyo and Bibby are real easy to like too, I just don't ever want to see Divak ever get a ring. What a pussy that guy is.

I think Vlade is OK but could understand that a rival fan would not like him. ROFL

I heard from a friend that knows someone with the Kings that Adelman runs his practices with a lot of game action with different combinations playing together as they would in games. I think that is why they play such a good open court game and play well together. I can imagine that Webber must be as bad in practice and that his teammates want to go to plan B with him playing less.

Hopefully, Adelman will realize that his team will be better this year with less minutes for Webber.

I think the Pacers will win. Of course, I don't know much about the NBA..but I do think Ron Artest is hilarious.

What do you want to bet?

My very favorite moment in NBA history. Vlade blows the series by knocking the ball out to Horry for the winning shot.

Anything from drinks on the other person when I come out for a game to something more simple like $20 or $50 for 37 forever. I'm open.

Drinks sound good.
