If Morton doesn't step up soon and have some good games, he's done with Chiefs.

I knew Morton would not be ready. Time to see what the Rookies can do, they gotta step up sunday night.

Even if he is ready or whatever I don't see him being that effective, we will see.

Take a seat, Johnny...
Go with Hall & Smith. xoxo~ Gaz Less concerned than some about Morton’s position. |
Well my dad used to say, there's some truth in all reports. Morton probably has a microscopic tear in his achillies. He also is probably ready to go. He does have a knack for avoiding the big play.

I may be in the minority, but I'm not counting on anything from Richard Smith. How many rookies have looked good in the Preseason only to do nothing in the regular season? I am not comfortable at all with Richard Smith as our 3rd WR in Denver for the first game of the regular season. He really hasn't shown me anything yet that I've said, "Wow...that kid can play." The TD catch against Dallas was nice but who'd he beat for that TD? 2nd teamers...3rd teamers?
We will see, but I'd feel a lot better with a former 1,000 yard vet at the 3rd WR spot than an undrafted rook. |

He's still listed as probable on kcchiefs.com

Anyone ever stop to think that maybe KC is using this as a ploy for Denver to gameplan for Morton, and spend less time gameplanning for receiver X (be it Hall, Smith, etc.) If that's the case, it's brilliant.
|
the game plan would have been installed a week or so ago

How many balls that hit Richard Smith in the hands did he drop? That former 1000 yard receiver never showed up here after he left Detroit.
