It's not really that surprising. Most of those 0-2 teams were really bad teams. The current Chiefs team has flaws, but it isn't as bad as most of those teams were.
Besides, the historical significance of an 0-2 start in the NFL is clouded to some degree by the fact that parity was not a trademark of the NFL until recently. The gulf between 0-2 teams and 2-0 teams used to be much wider than it is today. I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. |
