NewsChannel5 said the Browns camp has scheduled a press conference for 1 p.m. The injury reportedly happened during a play in the fourth quarter in which Browns players fell on the rookie's leg. Winslow was injured on an onside kick in the waning seconds of the contest. As Winslow tried to recover Phil Dawson's drop-kick, he was sandwiched by two other Browns. The Browns No. 1 pick was helped off the field after that play. The Browns may have to find another tight end to replace Winslow if the injury is confirmed, WEWS reported. The Browns lost 19-12 to the Dallas Cowboys. X-rays were reportedly taken. In addition to Winslow, 2000 first-round pick Courtney Brown and 2001 first-round pick Gerard Warren were injured. NewsChannel5 and NewsNet5 will have the latest on Winslow. Be sure to check back often for updates. |
