A Jamacian gave me a bottle of Rum to take home....only problem he forgot to say it was for cooking really. I gave it to anyone that walked in my door that drank........as I had 1 drink and was drunk for 2 DAYS!!!

It was called Wray & Nephew............White OVER PROOF RUM...Dear lord!!!

I've had Caruba. Good stuff! BTW, you should have no problem finding the Appleton Estate in any good-sized liquor store. It's quite popular in the US right now. I've noticed all the bars I've been in carry it...

2001 Mondavi Woodbridge Cabernet.

It was a large bottle and it had been open a couple of days (with the cork in), don't know if that changes the taste, but I was not impressed.

I have never really liked woodbridge though. Its pretty bland and has kind of a metallic taste to it.

Still gets you drunk though and there are worse wines out there.

Grolsch. Wow. I have a new favorite beer. I picked some up this weekend to try something new. I mean I knew I enjoyed the Dutch beers but this is easily my favorite so far. I'm going to go get one of those 5 liter personal "kegs" for Tuesday night. Sweet nectar of life!

That site is inaccurate, Booker does not have the only straight from the barrel bourbon on the market. Wild Turkey has it as well, labled as Rare Breed. Good stuff.

Usually you say garnish with lime, lemon, etc. A Chili's Triple Play is a sample food platter consisting of chicken strips, hot wings and southwestern egg rolls. It also comes w/ 3 different sauces.

They're tasty, whatever it is.
