Civ III has come down in price. Very addictive. There's a newer version coming out towards the end of this year. I highly recommend it if you're looking to waste some time.

BTW, KOTOR is basically a combination of Star Wars and D&D. Takes days to play through, and the story line is better than any of the Star Wars movies. I cannot recommend it highly enough, but be warned - it's like crack.

Also, the coolest thing about the game is how it alters based on whether you play good or evil, what character class you choose, and how you interact with the NPCs. I've played it all the way through about 20 times, in search of the perfect game. I think I finally found it.
