did you see the texans game or even hear about it? I saw parts of it while watching the chiefs game and Carr was horrible as usual. He has been horrible for his whole career and the Houston media is sick of it and has stopped giving him and Capers excuses. Well they still sometimes give Carr the benefit of the doubt since he has the worst o-line in the NFL, but Carr should still do better. Victor Riley is their starting LT by the way

True dat. From Cochise's list I would put him 8th right now.

Frazod 09-12-2005 07:37 PM

McNabb looked like ass on that non-drive.

el borracho 09-12-2005 07:38 PM

Whoa. Who even knew that any of the Detmers were still alive, much less on an active NFL roster?

Eleazar 09-12-2005 07:40 PM

"More dangerous on the run" = sucks at being a QB

Did you just see the play he made? Ran outside the pocket, threw it on the run very accurately.

Now he just ran for a TD.

I actually think that Jenkins will be pretty decent this year.

Exceptions don't prove generalizations wrong.

There was a day when QB's ran more than they passed. Eat it, purists.

If you were rating QB's purely on their passing ability, i'd put Vick outside the top 15. But you aren't.

If you include his running ability I would put slot him right next to or a spot above Roethlisberger.

Fair enough. I'm still not sold on Roethlisberger, but I agree with you with putting Vick in the top 10 QB's (which DOES include both passing/running).

Frazod 09-12-2005 07:48 PM

Nice catch, TO. ROFL

Saulbadguy 09-12-2005 07:51 PM

TD Falcons.

Frazod 09-12-2005 07:51 PM

Sweet. 14-0 Falcons.

Niether one of them I would call an upper tier QB. Not a guy who is going to lead your team through the playoffs.

Yeah, Atlanta got to the conference championship... of one of the weakest conferences ever after beating the worst playoff team in history.

8 or 9 is where I would puthim on the 'who would you rather have' scale.

Bwana 09-12-2005 07:56 PM

The Eagles getting OWNED! MCNUB looking like hell and Owens had the look on the sideline like someone poked his old lady and kicked his dog, priceless!

ArrowheadHawk 09-12-2005 07:56 PM

eagles going for 5 nfc championship games...its not looking good

At least one turd in the sewer is going to end up floating on the top.

Eagles driving though.

That was a nifty trap play.

I resent that!

Saulbadguy 09-12-2005 08:14 PM

Thats an incomplete pass.

Frazod 09-12-2005 08:14 PM

I think the arm was going forward.

tk13 09-12-2005 08:15 PM

I think that was obvious at full speed with the naked eye, on TV, that his arm was going forward...

Saulbadguy 09-12-2005 08:17 PM

Well, I guess not.

tk13 09-12-2005 08:17 PM

That was garbage.

Frazod 09-12-2005 08:18 PM

Wow. That's harsh.

Coach 09-12-2005 08:18 PM

Wow, Walt Coleman, the ref, who ref'ed the game between the Raiders and the Pats, where that tuck rule was in effect, never officialed another Raider game since.

Frazod 09-12-2005 08:20 PM

Damn, Westbrook just got abused by Coleman. :D

Frazod 09-12-2005 08:22 PM

Nice Hummer commercial. Unfortunately, the only people who can afford to buy them and put gas in them are on the field playing. :D

Saulbadguy 09-12-2005 08:25 PM

Helluva run.

Frazod 09-12-2005 08:40 PM

Akers pulling a Tynes.

No, wait, Tynes misses every other FG. Akers missed two in a row. :D

tk13 09-12-2005 08:41 PM

Kicking in the NFL has just gone to all to heck... maybe it's just me but it seems like more kickers are missing FG's so far through preseason and week 1. Maybe not.

Shox 09-12-2005 08:44 PM

Where is Hartwell? I have not even seen him on the field. What is going on there?????

tk13 09-12-2005 08:48 PM

Looking over the stats, I guess not. Right at 80%, which is about normal. I guess I'm just watching all the wrong games.

Miles 09-12-2005 08:48 PM

Great, are they going to do this county shit every game this year?

It wasn't a line in the song.

When he was doing the chorus, they showed three Chiefs defenders turning some NYJ player up on his head from a hit.

They showed Colquitt falling on his ass too

Iowanian 09-12-2005 09:01 PM

I think Dunn has enough yards for me to beat my Brotherinlaw in our FFB league.....now, I need Vick to throw about 5-6 passes for 70 yards and a TD to Crumpler to have a chance in the other league.

haven't heard Hartwell's name yet once.

It looks like they are running a lot of nickel package and Hartwell is the LB that leaves in that package.

schneider221 09-12-2005 09:09 PM

what the hell was that...

tk13 09-12-2005 09:09 PM

Miles 09-12-2005 09:10 PM

Man that was ugly.

leviw 09-12-2005 09:12 PM

You really think Thor's dream of being on Monday Night Football came true in that commercial? I mean, I probably dreamed of playing on MNF too at one time, but I'm almost positive in the dream I wasn't in an empty Georgia Dome pimping a Snickers t-shirt.

schneider221 09-12-2005 09:20 PM

Madden - see this guy is a playmaker, got the ball off, a real playmaker...and this guy wow he catches that ball after a tip a real playmaker, these are 2 great playmakers....those are the plays and playmakers that win the game for you

umm those 2 playmakers failed to get the first down

Coach 09-12-2005 09:21 PM

Nice hit by Hood, the guner for the Eagles special teams.

Iowanian 09-12-2005 09:32 PM

Where in the hell is Crumpler?

Injured or IV?

cdcox 09-12-2005 09:33 PM

McNabb has made some really stupid plays tonight. The backward pass and the I'm gonna hold the ball forever come to mind.

Ouch. Touchdown robbing holding penalty. :spank:

Coach 09-12-2005 09:47 PM

And Dawkins blow up herpie boy. Fumbled, and Eagles recover.

Coach 09-12-2005 09:59 PM

FG Good for the Eagles. 14-10, Falcons.

Frazod 09-12-2005 10:02 PM

Iggles still riding the momentum of that redzone fumble.

That's a 55% completion. But the majority of his throws were way behind or way ahead.

I think there is something wrong with him.
