That was the Green Bay game. Roaf is a ****ing warrior.

RedThat 09-13-2005 11:23 AM

Lets hope Ryan Sims wont be out too long.

I saw him before that game. Willie always has a weird walk, but it was the worst I've ever seen before that game. He was sort of waddling/limping as he left a hotel in Green Bay.

Yes and I believe it was against the Raiders too. :hmmm:

Brilliant news.

Roaf is the biggest concern and if he's possible for the Raiders that would be great. Also was concerned T-Rich would be out for awhile.

Sounds like the only person for sure out is Sims...and while I think we're better with him in there the 3-4 without him seemed to really hum.

Talking about 3-4....Likes it...Sees that they've got 4 solid LBs...short on Dlinemen....put 4 gifted LBs on field....nice change up. Fox is a young, ascending player.....Mitchell played well...good leader sunday....did a good job.

I've been saying this all off-season and to a lesser extent last season.

We've always been stronger at LB and weaker at DT.

Why not go 3-4?

Glad to hear we are, and it is working well for us.

(ie, I was right as ususal! :p)

The Raiders are going to pass first, second, and third. Then, I hope this doesn't happen due to our awesome CB and Safety, they will run later, after they HOPE that they score.

That will be the game plan of the Raiders.

We will ahve to stop the pass. Until we do, that will be all we see out of them.

I disagree. They paid Jordan good money to run the ball. Norv Turner has always been known for running his backs hard. And, they'll want to keep our Offense off the field to protect their terrible defense. No doubt they'll take their shots with Moss, but if we stop their running game....IMO we win.

Chiefs Pantalones 09-13-2005 11:47 AM

Rhonda Moss said after the game that TRich will probably be out for the season. ROFL

I think they will look at our game vs the Jets and say, they can't stop the pass, and they did well against the run. Lets pass in running situations.

Thats all. No doubt they will still need to run, but IMHO, it will be after they establish some air.

Dammit, and not one word about Scanlon. I was hoping to hear how DV felt about his performance Sunday.

I hate to say this, but I might sit Roaf anyway. We need him healthy long-term, not just for one game. That being said, if Willie wants to play, you let Willie play.

Logical 09-13-2005 12:38 PM

Surtain will play brought us from 40-60 shot at winning to 80-20 if Roaf could play that would bring it up to 90-10 (about as good as it will get in Oakland). Also good news on TRich.

You think Surtain all by himself improves our chances of winning by FORTY percent?

It is not just who is on the field but who is not on the field if Surtain is playing both addition by addition and addition by subtraction. It would be much less if Warfield was available.

Hammock Parties 09-13-2005 12:51 PM

LOL Vlad how do you even determine those stats?

More like 30-70 without Surtain/T-Rich/Roaf,
45-55 with Surtain, w/o T-Rich/Roaf,
55-45 w/ Surtain/ T-Rich and no Roaf
60-40 w/ all three...

Can you imagine our Starting CB's without Surtain:

Mcleon/Washington vs Moss/Porter/Curry

Knight and Wesley will have a long night...

That shit made my day as well. I was in a really shitty mood yesterday thinking how we lost all these good players. Right now I feel a little like I woke up after a nightmare. Feels good.

The dumb bitch also said that Ryan Sims did nothing in the series that he was on the field yesterday. I'd never really appreciated the depths of her idiocy until that moment.

Hard to watch the game when you've got to double burgers in your face.

I love the fact that "Piston Honda" gets paid to antagonize athlete's and make up stories to report as facts.

I wish I could suck at my job as bad as she does and continue to earn a living.

They can't fire the dumb c**t since she is female and fat. The moment they do, she sues for discrimination or some such. The Chiefs organization just needs to ban her from attending anything Chiefs related...

Whew. That's reassuring. Surtain, TRich, and MeatRoaf.....two of the three should be back, all three might be.

Sims hurts, but I think we can game plan for that one. Let's hope Dick is right. :thumb:
