They have the Jags game on sopcast. It's on the channel menu under USFOOTBALL in the TEST GROUP section

Click "Enter" then a password window will pop up.
The password is "cards".

Should see the MNF Montana Magic game playing before todays Cards game.

I'm not sure I can think of any situation in which looking a stream in the face would be a good idea.

First, I disagree with the notion of attempting to prevent an atom bomb train from going to Denver.

By the way, you'll notice some things have changed when it comes to streams this week. Bit rate is higher, so it may take longer to buffer (but should be a better quality video). If you notice more problems, let me know so that it can be corrected.

In addition, there may be more pre- and post-game stuff going on. As C-Mac mentioned, you can watch the old MNF game on the second link.

it keeps asking me if I want to install the widows media player codec...I keep saying yes, but nothing happens..when I click on the back up stream I get the channel but everything is pink and red...just colors....any thoughts?

You might try the basic solutions to SOPcast weirdness. Restart the stream, restart the program, or restart your PC.

no, I had the same color/image problem before...I have been able to use TVU without problems....I play around with it, if it doesn't work it doesn't work...I'll try a restart...

You might check into a new version of Windows Media Player from Microsoft. Sounds like something in your WMP codecs has gotten screwed up.

If it seems to be a common problem, I may have to lower the quality back down. That's part of the reason I'm trying it now - fix it before the game gets going. Let me know if you're still having problems in a few minutes.

Stream 1 has now been lowered to the usual 200k stream for those who were having problems. You'll need to restart the stream, regardless.

yeah, I don't think the stream was a problem...something about my media player was interferring...I've got a fast connection, so stream away brother...

I promise I'll stop messing with it soon.

After watching the stats on the stream, it wasn't any better at 200k, so it's now back to 250k. That seemed to hold fine with the rebroadcasts last week, so I'm gonna leave it there.

sopcast locks up on me (vsfilter.dll) ... but TVU works well.

If I'm understanding your question correctly, the answer is no. They're two completely separate networks.

You might try reinstalling or updating your Windows Media Player. Sopcast uses the WMP platform for playback, so I'd start there.

You have to use sopcast to use our local streams. TVU won't work.

The primary stream is on autopilot for the day. I've got a prior engagement, so I'll be watching the game on my DVR later. If it goes down by some chance, try one of the other streams.

Stream 1 will have the Texans/Cowboys game at noon. Stream 2 will be showing KC local pregame shows from the last couple days. Both channels will have the game on when it comes to gametime.

According to the "NFL Streams" site above, the game will also be shown on this channel. Give it a try if the other streams don't work for you.

I took it down, since no one had used it in three weeks. If we have chronic server problems again, I'll put the link back up.

An early announcement: I'm heading to Donkey Land this weekend for a couple job interviews, so I won't be here to get the primary stream going. I'll try to get it going remotely, but no guarantees.

If it's not working, I believe the backup stream will be going. If nothing else, the game should be on TVU's CBS channel. Good luck!
