Actually, he jumped all over me for defending Carl after;

He stated "[we] have had exactly TWO players leave in the last 10 years that actually made an impact on their new teams."

then I listed some other people who left and made an impact on other teams

then he started in the with "x wasn't drafted, y wasn't a pro-bowler, z likes kiddie porn."

So I replied "whatever"

Also, I think people are forgetting that some of our non-existant/poor draft picks were actually our little way of 'drafting' DV, Trent, Roaf, Herm, etc.

Excellent point, I think the Chiefs gave a 3rd for Welbourn right?

I still think he should have kept Lamont Jordan instead of Curtis Martin...

Sorry Mr. ismaqe,I had to reply to this one.. ;)

And the Jets would be a better team with John Abraham and Kevin Mawae right now.

Are you crazy??

How??
He's always hurt..ALWAYS
Abraham has only played in 3 games this year..and he has a broken hand now..BTW..Abraham is a useless piece of shit that missed 3 playoff games..1 with a tummy ache, and the other 2 because he wanted his big pay day the following year and didn't want to ''hurt himself''..and Mangold is better than Mawae right now..

MAngold has played well, but I don't believe he's better than Mawae. If Herm was the coach this year, Mangold would probably start at guard and the top 5 pick Ferguson would obviously start at tackle.

John Abraham is always hurt - it's true. But getting 12 games a year (which I know he has not given this year) is still plenty from him. He single handedly won a lot of games for the Jets over the years with 4th quarter strip sacks. Bryan Thomas is most definitely not that level of player.

Don't kid yourself too much about the Jets. Mangini and Schottenheimer have done a nice job, but they're where they are because of their schedule. They started out the year playing a team (the Titans) who were starting a QB who arrived in town less than a week earlier (Kerry Collins). They got to play the Browns, Texans, Raiders, Packers, Vikings, and Lions. Their Patriot win was good, but remember, the Lions also almost won in Foxboro during the period the Jets won that game.

I think the real problem with Ty Law in KC is that he has worn the same # that you know who wore...

Wrong..because if the Jets keep Abraham..there is no number 1 pick to chose Mangold with

Playing a team scheme defense has more than made up for the loss of Abraham..and Bryan Thomas is an important part of that puzzle

Please..there are alot of teams that have had easy schedules just like the Jets..but have not won their fair share of games..the coaching difference is night and day..do you know that the Jets get to the line of scrimmage on EVERY PLAY with at least 17 seconds on the play clock..even without the no huddle they employ..in the past, they would mope on up to the line of scrimmage taking their time(even when they were behind late in games) and wait until 1 second was left on the play clock and often waste a time out(sound familiar?)..there is a sense of urgency now.

Pennington sucks..he can not stretch the field..the Jets are a perfect example of a conservative offense that is unpredictable..and it has been working.

Oh..one more thing..this is the strength of schedule as of today.. ;)

Just so you know.....that one is on the Chiefs, Law is a 32 year old aging CB what did you expect? Not to mention we still have 0 pass rush, they should rename this city to "Kansas City where DB's go to die".
