That was my thought as well. I'm surprised he didn't take off and run more. Although, to be fair, his slow, un-open receivers seemed to be pretty good at catching the ball. (Not like they would put the drops in a highlight reel, though.)

It's just interesting to see how high some people (including myself) were on Croyle. That season & Herm's tenure in general turned into a disaster. Croyle/Huard hurt and Thigpen starting.
