You want me to end the thread?
Here goes... Pearl Harbor. Yep. Saw it AT LEAST 20 times at the theatre. |

My wife might leave me for you with this list. Those are 3 of her all-time favorites. |

"Not Without My Child". The wonderfully made lifetime movie starring the effervescent and brilliant Merrideth Baxter Bernie.

Pearl Harbor was horrible. Not because it had a love story intertwined, but because the love story was completely ridiculous and added nothing nor had anything to do with that tragic day. The special effects and action scenes were really good though.

Clueless. Maybe it's just that I like looking at Alicia Silverstone.
|
The 10000 BC thread in the media forum finally brought one to mind: Roland Emmerich masterpiece "Stargate".
I felt dirty buying that dvd for some reason, but I watch it about every 6 months. I just dig that movie for some reason. Ancient egyptian with an alien tie-in does it every time. |
I kinda like "You got served"
|
Hairspray - Hate to admit I really like this movie.
Galaxy Quest - I own the damned DVD and still will stop to watch it on tv when it comes on. :doh!: |
And let me go on record here - Battlefield Earth WASN'T that bad. It was worse.
:) |

Im not embarrassed to say i like that movie. Alicia was freaking hot to look at during that movie. |

For some reason I have to watch these if I see them on TV. I wouldn't even really say I "like" them, just that the remote gets put down when they flash on the screen.
Armageddon Drumline Tango and Cash |

I watched "Crank" last night.
It wasn't great, but it was fun. I'd watch it again. |
I liked A League of Their Own. I know, I'll turn in my Man Card.
|
Kung Pow.
The Last Dragon. Napolean Dymanite. |

It was biblical in heft. |
Was the book any good?

Every guy that isn't queer remembers the girl jumping out the cake seen. That was fantastic. Every time that movie is mentioned that memory jumps like a diamond on a dunghill. |

I walked out of Starship Troopers. They ruined a good book by making a bozo fest of a movie.

CB4 and Action Jackson come to mind.

Damn I must phail. I like a lot of the movies mentioned.
Love Actually - hilarious Evolution - hilarious Tango and Cash - hilarious Armagedon - hilarious Thats just on the last page. How about 50 First Dates - Couldnt stand Drew Barrymore before this movie The Last Boyscout - hilarious Army of Darkness - F'ing hilarious Starship Troopers - Mentioned already, but hilarious Death to Schmoochy - hilarious |
Here's two nobody has mentioned yet.
Elf (before Ferrell got completely annoying) The Man with Two Brains (Steve Martin) |
See, but I'm not even really embarrassed to like Tango and Cash, The Last Boyscout, Road House, Point Break, hell even Freddy got Fingered.
I guess I have the same lack of shame in movies that a chick who does anal gangbangs does for her asshole. |
Guilty on the following charges. And some random romantic comedies.

A League of Their Own is good just for two lines:
1) "Wow! 'Avoid the clap"--Jimmy Dugan." 2) "Did anyone ever tell you that you look like a penis with a hat?" |
Flash Gordon
Stick It |

Oh, shit. I forgot.
Cabin Boy. |

Alot of the movies on this list are pretty decent movies. Some even critically acclaimed. No shame in that.
I was thinking this thread was more for B movies and chick flicks?? |
Quote:
I don't think any of my list would ever be critically acclaimed. |

a league of their own has enough baseball moments (being drunk and nailing chicks) and enough baseball in it that i like it
|
Some of these movies aren't bad, but there are a couple I need to add.
Things to do in Denver when you're dead. Princess Bride. |
All these movies are good.

But, God bless it...I watch that movie whenever I come across it on my channel guide. |

Ive always heard that Sam Jones voiced was dubbed as well for Flash. Thats probably my fave bad movie. |
Quote:
IMDB doesn't mention anything about Jones' voice being dubbed. Normally that sort of thing is listed in the trivia section. The dubber (is that a word?) would be listed in the expanded credits as well. |
Starship Trooper. Ony because Yes is such a great band, which led me to rent it only because of the title.
And Denise Richards is, well.......... |
I love Starship Troopers. LOVE IT. Never read the book so I didn't get offended, as I was with Dune (don't even get me started on David fucking Lynch's butchery).
I guess that would be my favorite bad movie, but I really don't consider it bad. Just cheesy and silly. With great special effects and DEnise Richards. |
What About Bob
A League of Their Own and most recently... The Game Plan |

I was trying to look up a Flash Gordon clip on Youtube, and ran accross another B Sam Jones flick: "My Chauffeur" with former 80's hottie Deborah (Valley Girl) Foreman. hahahaha |
