Embarrassing the game and himself elsewhere. That fat c*nt is such a waste of talent it's sickening.

And Rose is going to make a run at missing the cut it seems.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-11-2008 05:08 PM

Harrington with a rape hook from the bunker on 18. That's going to be a trifling bitch.

Where is that Boo dude? I like guys who act like they've never been to town.

It's his own damn fault for not waiting for Applebee to mark. Announcer said it best, for someone who thinks everything through so meticulously, Tiger made huge mental error. Still got the par there.

Made the putt. Didn't cost him anything.

Did I just read Justin Rose's scorecard at 78?

When is the last time you saw a tour pro card a snowman on a hole in a major?

Happens every year @ Augusta. At least one person will make an 8 or a 9 at 15 because they rinse the first, and then get tentative on the second, and you can't play that hole with your butthole puckered.

I'm not a Tiger guy, but you will almost never see pros wait for their partners to mark when they are 80+ yards from the green. That was a really bad "rub of the green".

Those young whippersnappers will screw the pooch and Eldrick will triumph once again.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 01:44 PM

Phil with a great pitch at two for the tap-in.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 01:45 PM

I'd just like to remind everyone that although Tiger is unquestionably great, he's not known for Sunday comebacks in majors. He generally grabs the lead in round three or earlier, and chokes the life from the competition. If he doesn't make a move damn soon, he's gonna be gunning for 3rd, not a win.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 01:48 PM

I swear to fuck, Snedeker must have ordered that visor from a 1983 Golf Digest he found in his parent's attic.

Great movie.

The wind should pick up pretty shortly and the scores should rise.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 02:54 PM

Snedeker chili dips his approach on 7 into the bunker.

And Bubba Watson proves that you drive for show and putt for dough.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 03:01 PM

Mickelson just got fucked on 8.

Bowser 04-12-2008 03:04 PM

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 03:06 PM

Snedeker -8
Casey -8
Immelman -7
Flesch -7
Poulter -5
Mickelson -4
Woods -4

And Poulter just hit a pure hosel shank.

Bowser 04-12-2008 03:09 PM

Mickelson laid up on 8 to hit a wedge in, hit a great shot, which hit the pin (and was very unlucky), causing it to spin back 25 feet. He was so pissed he ran his first putt four feet by and then blew the downhiller for par.

There's no need to compound an unlucky break with stupidity, but that's what has always separated Phil from Tiger.

Silock 04-12-2008 03:17 PM

It wasn't bad, just mediocre. An 8 footer at Augusta that burns the edge is rarely a poor putt.

For someone that isn't named "Tiger," I would agree.

Unlucky on that roll on 16.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 03:21 PM

Tiger has hit two very very good iron shots on 14 and 16, and they both ended up 50+ feet away because he just missed the ridge.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 03:24 PM

Romero, sometimes you just have to accept that you're gonna make a bogey.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 03:30 PM

Phil is completely falling apart. He needs to let that bogey go.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 03:35 PM

Really good recovery shot by Phil on 10, but he needs to make the putt to have any kind of momentum on the back nine (which is traditionally his best @ Augusta).

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 03:37 PM

WOW. Mickelson missed a 6 foot putt by 6 inches.

Phil stepping on his dick.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 04:33 PM

Steve one pound of Flesch no more, no less with his first bogey since Thursday. Snedeker leaking oil like a goddamned Gremlin on 13. Casey just squatfucked himself on 15, and Immelman is alone at -9.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 04:34 PM

Casey promptly throws a dart on 16.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-12-2008 04:52 PM

Well screw that. Phil misses a short birdie putt and then hits a piss yank on 16. He's done.

I wish Boo Weekley would start his charge.

kstater 04-12-2008 05:39 PM

These two just made it very hard for Tiger tomorrow. A lot of ground and a few people between him. Immleman and Snediker absolutely stuck their approaches on 18.

Donger 04-12-2008 06:40 PM

So, what's the chance of Tiger catching those two turds tomorrow?

I'd say it's going to be tough. Short of Tiger shooting 62(not going to happen) I can see one dropping back to him, but not both.

A lot better now that the forecast is calling for 30 MPH winds this afternoon.

If it's truly that windy, I fully expect Tiger and Flesch to make a run. Both handle heavy wind very well.

It sounds crazy, but if Tiger can post a 71 or even par, he might win this thing. After seeing Justin Rose post a 78 in near perfect conditions, I can only imagine what we might see today.

This is gonna be fun.

You have to remember that the tournament organizers aren't the sadists at the USGA. The people @ Augusta realize that when people like Zach Johnson win a battle of attrition at +1, it doesn't help bring in the casual fan. They made the course set up more forgiving this year so that -6 to -10 would be the winning score.

If the wind is really howling, expect some of the Sunday pins to be moved from their normal locations.

And Justin Rose shoots a 78 in perfect conditions every year @ The Masters.

Can't argue with that, but even with easier placements, those greens are a bitch. Nearly impossible to hit a 2 yard window when the wind is blowing that hard. Even with easy placements, if you miss your window, you'll be lucky to two-putt.

But there are places on those greens that have larger windows. 12 will be a degenerate whore today, and 16 won't be much better, but I imagine they'll put 11 as a center or center-right pin.

I would imagine you'll have an average round of around 75 today. Tiger will have to shoot at least 69 to win, even with these winds.

HECK of a putt by Snedeker.
