The D got six sacks. Maybe he ought to fire whoever served up the 5 turnovers.

Frazod 10-20-2008 09:02 PM

Harrison gets the cart. Aww, too bad.

Dartgod 10-20-2008 09:03 PM

I'll say it.

Stay down, bitch.

Sure-Oz 10-20-2008 09:04 PM

Harrison is near tears, looks like a career ender just off initial looks

Frazod 10-20-2008 09:06 PM

Crap. There goes the shutout. :grr:

I've never wished a bad injury on anyone. But, Harrison deserves anything that happens to him.

Not one of these announcers give an insightful analysis of the game that is not obvious to the viewer. all we hear is the same gossipy BS week in and week out.

Frazod 10-20-2008 09:22 PM

Heh. Donx called for the chop block. Who'd have thunk it?

Well they are playing the team that gets sucked off more than they do.

kcpasco 10-20-2008 09:28 PM

100.9 passer rating for Huard against the Donks.

This is one of the reasons that I like not having the Chiefs on MNF. Gus Johnson is my favorite sports announcer, and he did a great job in a shitty game. I like when an announcer knows his shit, but still gets emotionally involved if something good happens.

Jaws is an excellent analyst, but Kornheiser brings the whole crew down IMO.

Sure-Oz 10-20-2008 09:30 PM

Wow, running up the score

Frazod 10-20-2008 09:30 PM

Cool. They're going to score again. 1st and goal Pats.

And touchdown. :thumb:

Sure-Oz 10-20-2008 09:30 PM

edit nevermind

Sure-Oz 10-20-2008 09:31 PM

260 rushing yards wow

Frazod 10-20-2008 09:33 PM

Pretty much a perfect game. Donx humiliated on national TV, cheapshot Harrison leaves via cart. :thumb:

It's funny that NE actually thinks they will dominate like this again, so they have to get their 1 game of the year to run up the score

People just don't realize how much Denver sucks. I mean, we beat them soundly and we're godawful.

I'd agree, but keep in mind that we got 332 hung on us yesterday.

Oh definetly, we have the worst defense in the NFL, bar none, but Denver's D is right there

Amnorix 10-20-2008 09:41 PM

Well that was fun. Donx are a complete mess of a team. WTF is up with that? We always have trouble with them, but this game was a joke. Maybe Cutler's hand messed everything up. Their 2 fumbles didn't hurt that bad (only converted into 6 points), and the long-bomb pick was more or less a punt. 3 turnovers hurt, but they were just a mess all-around.

Of course, Harrison is probably lost for the season, but our season wasn't likely to go far anyway.

Only thing that would have been better would be Moss fake-calling the Animal Rescue League because the Broncos are being whipped! But that wouldn't be too original I guess...

Yuck.

Just yuck.

Avs are doing well though.

Coach 10-20-2008 11:10 PM

I guess starting Peyton Manning didn't become a bad idea after all. I thought about starting Cutler aganist that awful pass-defense of the Patriots, but wow....

Edit: Maybe not then. Both of them did poorly, but Cutler did have a TD. Damn.

boogblaster 10-20-2008 11:46 PM

Donks dying ... There is a spirit out there ...

Ladies and germs: I give you your AFC Western Division leaders — The Denver Broncos.

Heck, it might be more like the Mid-American Conference.

Serious question: if the Donks fired Shanny at the end of the season, would you want the Chiefs to hire him?

Not "would you take Shanny over Herm", would you take Shanny over everybody? If Herm was out and Shanahan was among the available candidates, would you want to see him get the job? (He'd surely want to be GM and head coach, btw.)

'Cause I don't think I would at this point. And right through Vermiel's departure, I don't think there's been a point where I wouldn't have said "Wow, jump on that" if the Chiefs were looking for a coach and Shanny was available. But now, ehhhh.

TinyEvel 10-21-2008 01:27 AM

I would take MR Peabody over Herm

The Chiefs would be crazy not to hire him immediately.

And Shanny would be crazy to take the job.

And Bowlen would be crazy to fire him in the first place.

Other than that, it's a fun hypothetical.

What has Shanny done since Elway and T Davis?

Shanny isn't going anywhere. He is one of the best offensive minds to ever coach the game.
He has built a nice young offense when all the players are healthy.
Cutler, B-Marsh, Schefler, Royal, Clady are all stud picks playing well.

Now he has to beg, borrow or steal to get a defense that is NFL caliber.
Last night Denver made a 3rd-rate RB and life-long bench warmer QB look like Pro Bowlers. Of course they do that every week. Having a helpless defense really sucks.
Props to NE for taking advantage.
