Why u no good FAKE P.O.S. How can you try to equivocate my love for you before your fling with the Scheft-dog at Aspen Gay Ski week? I'm sick of it, and I'm not taking your abuse anymore. Not for another minute, bitch! You left me, after you used and abused me like the used tranvestite-prostitute that you originally....solicited on MySpace. How could I be so naive?!! I thought you and I found a connection, that we were soul-mates. A DAMNED REAL CONNECTION...I should have known better. Once you discovered, I was really a "he"...that made you even more excited. Admit it, bitch. You and Scheft-dog can have at it. Even as a tranny, I know my clit could satisfy you more than you will ever get from that NFL-reporter-wannabe than....anything, ANYTHING, he can give you. So GFY, Mr. Taco Juan. I'm on to bigger and better people than you. :harumph: I remember the ending of that pathetic "favorite" movie you made me suffer through so many times, do you? |

Looks like Kotter is back in drag... *yawn* |
Per ESPN:
The Chiefs have discussed Shanahan as a replacement for Edwards, but a Chiefs official said Friday night that although he wouldn't rule it out, he does not believe Shanahan will be the team's next coach. |

I'm not saying the guy will end up being the coach, but there is absolutely zero percent reason to believe any "official" working under Scott Pioli. Just a couple weeks ago they were threatening to fire anyone who leaked any information to the media. Even the coaches didn't know what was going on.

I have a feeling the Chiefs new coach will remind me of Barry Sanders.

ESPN = Assbags.
OR ... Adam Schefter = Dickbox. It's all the same to me. |

I don't personally care if the new coach is Shanahan or not, anything, including the deposit I just left in the sewer system a few minutes ago is an upgrade over Herm.
However think about this. It's been five - six hours since it was announced that Herm has been fired. The Shanahan rumor has been around since at least Tuesday if not earlier. The only FIRM denial of the rumor is from a junior (as in please change my diaper, I do believe I have soiled myself I am so upset at being scooped) reporter that has his panties in a bunch that his BFF may have fed him some intentional misinformation. There has been plenty of time for both sides, especially if the Rat is trying to play this into another coaching job with Dallas or whoever, for an official denial to be issued. |

It was so much fun. Shanny in KC might be enough to get him posting on the main board full time. It's gonna be a hoot! Maybe we'll get a Cutler > Stafford thread in a few years. |

Strange observations:
Maybe Pioli did exactly as he said he would do, talk to Edwards and Clark about it until he made a decision. Everyone else has been sure he was making a deal with someone or negotiating. Maybe not, and that would explain what they're saying about Shanahan now --there has been nothing. That would also explain matters with Haley --he's not going to be negotiating with anyone while in the middle of preparing his team for the SB. Now Pioli has made his decision, and now he has an opening for HC. If Haley really is a candidate you're still not going to see Pioli talking to him until after the SB --the longer we wait now, the likelihood that Haley is it increases. But if someone spots Shanahan in talks with KC now that Herm is gone, look out! I don't care what Schefter says, these guys do play it close to the vest, and no one necessarily knows what the other is doing. Media wants to scoop the story. These coaches and execs want to control it. I still think Shanahan would take less money from the Chiefs to just run the sidelines in the right situation (read: Pioli-led operation) and cause some mayhem in the AFC West. |
Taco and Kotter going at it again. It's just like old times back in Beggar's Canyon...Phobia used to bullseye GoWompRats in his T-16 modship...they're not much bigger than 300 pounds...

My only hard stance on this is that Schefter has been as reliable as it comes when it comes to information surrounding Shanahan. It would be news in and of itself if Schefter got this wrong, because it will mean that Schefter - a guy who ghost wrote Shanahan's book and has a long and well established history with him - has had the carpet pulled out from under his feet by the man who has long been his bread and butter. At this point in time, I see no reason not to believe Schefter when he says "I know for a fact they've not had contact to this point. The Chiefs may in fact reach out to him in the coming days and even then I firmly believe it will not change anything." |
Note that he said SHANAHAN and the Chiefs have not had contact.
He said nothing about Shanahan's agent. |

Well, everybody just conveniently ignored it the first time so I'll say it again: Where was Cowher last weekend? He wasn't sitting at the desk. And though I may be wrong, I believe that was ALSO the case the weekend before. I remember watching both Championship games and wondering where the **** he was. |
I am having a really hard time believing that Pioli fired Herm without having a fairly firm option to replace him. He wasn't going to fire Herm and then hope there was a viable option out there. I think the reason it took so long to fire Herm was because Pioli was going to keep him if he didn't find a replacement. They still have to go through the motions of giving interviews for the Rooney Rule but I think they have their man already.
I don't know if that is Shanahan or Cowher or what but there is an awful lot of smoke around the Rat rumors. |
Quote:
How could they can Herm and be negotiating with the Rat when a minority was not interviewed? Pioli is bringing his smoke and mirrors. |
Print 'em!

The way Pioli does busness, and IF the Rat is in the running.....yeah he is giving no one SHIT, but if or when it dies break maybe he told him he could have it. Bottom line, no one knows, pretty funny watching the media get "flustrated"

Schefter is a reporter. His credibility is at risk, along with the reputation of the NFL Network. The NFL Network, have the right to surpress the information if they are truly interested in the risk to the brand and their name. I would be shocked, if this story did not pan out. Then again, I have to remind myself, it is sports we're dealing with. Still, the quest for higher ratings depends on the consumers trusting the information. |
Quote:
ESPN reports it, NFL freaks out, Schefter is the cover up, Chiefs quickly interview a minority, then hire Shanahan (Schefter backtracked and said it was possible the Chiefs might talk to Shanahan in the future). |
