It's been awhile since I've even been on Ebay. Craigslist too. I've been trying to save dough, and most of my purchases recently have been bigger ones. I do a lot of shopping on Amazon and Woot these days. Smaller purchases, and lightning specials.

I bought a massage with a happy ending on craigslist. It was going really well for the first 50 minutes. Then a prince rode in on a white horse and carried the massage girl off.

KC Jones 05-18-2009 08:20 AM

craigslist: bookcase
ebay: purse (hey it was an xmass present for the wife)

I really don't use them that much. Most of the time if I decide I want something I just want to buy it and not dick around with an auction, scammers, or people who aren't home when they tell you to come over and get their craigslist item (or they sell it to someone else while you're in transit). Plus half the dickheads are trying to sell used shit for nearly as much as something new from a reputable store with a warranty and a decent return policy.

As much as companies suck, individual people suck far worse when it comes to business transactions.

I don't think you make any money but it's a good place to unload junk in the garage you no longer need... you can sell about anything there

I am currently trying to sell a generator here
An antenna tower here
I have sold bikes, old cb radio linear stuff from way back etc.

just be careful, when people are on the way to your house, close your garage and don't invite anyone in. I have heard people go out an look at what you have to sell only to scope out what else you have so they can come back in later and break in when you are gone.

Most furniture I see on Craigslist is overpriced and of questionable quality, so I can't say I'm surprised.

Ebay: Orange Box (360) - $9
Craigslist: Halo 3 and Assassin's Creed - $40
