This off season is key. They now have film on their guys in their system. Not to be an apologist, but all they had on this OLine was them playing in the spread. Now that they know they cant play, IMO we see some wholesale changes. All for using FA to get your starting lines(off/def) and using the draft for depth. |

No. No we can not. |

Hilarious that Tritt goes in hiding when the Chiefs win. I think he likes playing devil's advocate on here and talking about the draft. But no way does he actively root for the Chiefs to win on Sunday. |

Somebody better put out a BOLO on him. |
Mecca after the win?!?!?!?

I think the mastermind has taken a break from here to re-evaluate everything.
He'll be back when he gets it figured out. |

And I suppose that none of you checked the date of that quote, which was 8/11/2009. LONG before the additions of Lance Long, Bobby Wade, Chris Chambers and Ryan O'Callaghan. I think the Chiefs have a very good possibility of finishing up at 6-10. |

He's staying gone, so he doesn't have to admit he was wrong.
Like how he said the Bills were gonna win 11 games this year. Fail. |

Dane is a dickhead who's sole purpose it to try and start shit and for the life of me i don't understand why people defend him.
Cplanet would be better off without him |

Sometimes its fun to bash Mecca, but sometimes it gets old. For the most part, he asks for it. I enjoy some of his takes on football. The problem is, he is loosing his credibility. When someone calls him on his misses, he completely ignores it. Admitting you're wrong does not make you any less of a man.

They weren't talking about me. They were talking about Mecca. You have the reading comprehension of a 9 month old. Except the 9 month old understands football and business on a much higher level than you. |

What was my reasoning? His HEALTH. He wasn't able to stay health last year. Constant hamstring injuries. It appears that he's conquered that through training, stretching, massage, etc. Something he wasn't able to do last year. |
You were wrong though. Just admit it. Its ok, we wont think any less of you.

Apparently, the people that saw him everyday for 300 days felt the same way. You guys love to twist shit around. |

"Charles just isn't an NFL back" = "twist shit around" ROFLROFLROFL Hey man, if your being wrong creates some sort of cosmic karma that somehow contributes to a performance like Charles exhibited this year; then I'll toast to your wrongness everytime. :toast: |

His conditioning is obviously better and he is MUCH stronger than last year. I expect a similar curve to positively effect his play next year too. |
Quote:
He's a ****ing loser. And for the record, are you going to dispute Charles' injuries in 2008? He had severe hamstring injuries, which limited him to 67 carries last year. :shake: You guys act like I just pulled this out of a hat. |

It's OK to be wrong, Dane. |

Too much muscle on top can and does often lead to hamstring issues. |

GoChiefs, why dont you just ask him out already.

Find THAT, Douchetard. |
Admittedly, you saw the light.

Quote:
I NEVER once stated that he didn't have talent or that he wasn't effective. He was effective under Herm and had a great day against Tampa before injuring his hamstring (again). He just hadn't proven he was capable of being an every down, NFL back until the past few weeks. Which is the same exact issue that EVERYONE on the coaching staff had with him. :shake: |

Also take into account the fact I have been preaching all year, and last on the other board. He didnt lift weights in College as much as a football player normally does because of him being a track guy. It takes away from a sprinters flexibility. This is a HUGE reason for why a back with his talent slipped to the third round. "too much muscle on top"? no Last year he went down on first contact. This year he is bouncing off contact and turning them into long gains. Next year I fully expect him to start punishing defenders a little more toward the end of runs as PH used to do. I also expect him to become a very dangerous receiving threat next year after a full offseason of work with the staff on route running, remember Priest wasn't a great receiver till a couple years into his career because Texas backs dont have to do it. If he is able to stay healthy, he will be one hell of a weapon for us. |
Quote:
I never stated that Charles didn't have the ability; I doubted his health because he was only able to carry the ball 67 times last year. Again, the coaching staff had the very same doubts, which is why they tried to trade him and limited him to kickoff returns and third downs. What I stated in mid-September was the general consensus. Thankfully, he's proved otherwise since been given a chance. |
Quote:
You disqualified his talent completely because he was "injury prone," which is an odd thing to say about a player who plays in all 16 games and goes through the offseason without undergoing surgery. It was a classic case of "Dane sees something wrong so he's going to blow it out of proportion to slam the Chiefs." Anyway, just my take. |
Quote:
Hopefully, he's past that. As for HGH, I pretty much assume that most guys are doing it. |
Quote:
Maybe I didn't state it in THIS thread but I certainly said it on several occasions. What's your ****ing obsession with me, anyway? You're creeping me out. |

Seemed like a good time to bump your post. Especially because I've been a JC Believer since the beginning. I was wrong, too. I thought his ceiling this year was 1,000 TOTAL yards. He blew me away. |

JC? More like Derrick Johnson. You're from Texas. Hardly an objective bystander. |
