Hate to say it, but after watching Suh for the 5th time this season, I feel like KC needs more of a playmaker with the supposed #3 pick.

I believe Suh will be a good Pro, however KC needs a playmaking cornerstone on D...

More of a playmaker than Suh?Ok,I'll take whoever that is.
I would assume it has to be Berry then since you didn't name this play maker.

Don't worry, I still hate them. I just want them to win and Texas to lose. There would be at least some small measure of justice in that.

RustShack 12-30-2009 08:33 PM

Suh couldn't be a playmaker as our NT. Drafting him would be the biggest waste of talent and money in NFL history. Don't get me wrong he will be great... we just can't take him. We already have our DE's and I would rather see him in a 4-3 defense for his sake too.

I'm just loving the "you cant pass on Suh" and the "you cant pass on Berry" back and forth thing.ROFL

I guess its a good thing though, cause as high as were picking this year we have to get a good 1st pick........Right?:banghead:

Berry or Bryant just to name two. All Suh would do is waste space in the 3-4. Very similiar to Tyson Jackson IMO.

Maybe.I've been hoping we land Berry, but I cant see us picking Bryant that high.Who knows what changes between now and April.

Is Lou Holtz drunk?

Bugeater 12-30-2009 08:41 PM

Oh **** off Mark May, Bo would rip your head off and shit down your neck.

Sam Hall 12-30-2009 08:43 PM

Offense still has issues but I knew that coming in. I think they're teasing me with those new wrinkles. I like how Pelini's teams have seemed to get better as the season progresses.

Lou gave credit to Bo's coaching for the defensive turnaround in the last 2 yrs, and May scoffed at him and said it was all about Suh.

teedubya 12-30-2009 08:47 PM

I would care soooo much more if there were playoffs. The bowls are reeruned and pointless.

Sam Hall 12-30-2009 08:48 PM

Next year looks good, but I counted seven games that I'm at least nervous about. There's speculation that we will be in the preseason top 15. I see a lot of potential pitfalls right now.

Sam Hall 12-30-2009 08:51 PM

I guess we really are going to be like the Baltimore Ravens. That means we will probably see more close games. I'm nervous about that because I think this season took a couple years off my life.

This was 1995 all over again for the Blackshirts. Suh is the best defensive lineman in college football history. The tone has been set for next season and it's looking real good.

Nahhhh.

I agree - 10/16/2010

I thought Lee showed a decisiveness that we haven't seen all season. I think he's our starter next season and there isn't much of a controversy. The other quarterbacks haven't shown that they're better than him. Lee isn't ideal, but we have almost the entire offense back next season, and I think Lee has some upside.

Yeah, this has been one crappy week for UA sports. We lost to BYU at home by 33 points just before Xmas.

I'll say this much, he's tough and he plays hard, and he's not the only problem with the offense.

Wow, I wonder how many Husker fans are throwing their backs out due to sudden 180s on Lee?

Lee improved after the OU game I would say the play calling certainly helped. Remember coming into this year he only threw 2 passes and it looks like he'll be the starter next year and if Spano returns Green should be redshirted.

Bugeater 12-31-2009 12:57 AM

Now I'm hearing that Zac Lee has had a torn flexor tendon (whatever that is) in his right elbow since the Arkansas St game. Sorry, no link to the story yet, I guess the news came out in the postgame show.

It makes me anxious to see how much better he is when healthy. Maybe he looked like a wuss because he was protecting something. Tonight was the first time he looked comfortable that I can remember.
