That is not a complaint, rather just an observation.

But the point here is that I have this feeling that this potseason will be the stage that Jamaal really has everyone stand up and take notice.

He'd be touted as a sure fire HOFer if he played for any NFCE team or the Patriots.

Deberg_1990 01-04-2014 09:50 AM

Should be interesting to see how Indy defends him. You would think that their entire gameplan would be designed to shut him down and and take him out. He's really the only game breaker the Chiefs have unless you count McCluster on special teams.

I agree and it really doesn't make any sense.

He went the **** off in his first meaningful playing time in 09. I want to say he had something like 1200 yards in just 9 starts.

He had the highest ever YPC in a season mark in 2010.

He was obviously injured in 2011. Freak thing though; he's not injury prone at all.

Then in 2012 he had 1500 yards.

Now I have to hear about how ****ing great Adrian Peterson and Lesean McCoy are. Beast Mode OMGZ. Shut the **** up. Jamaal is better than all of them.

6 seasons in the NFL and he's never averaged less than 5 YPC in any of them..

ROFL You talk as if it is that easy. Teams have tried that for years and he is the all time leader in YPC

Excellent. Another holiday.

53 yards to go until Jamaal Charles runs past Priest.

The thing I love about these gifs is that I'll watch the play over and over and watch each player. For example, watch #33 of the Rams at the top of the screen. You can only see his feet at first, but can still track him. Jamaal completely flummoxed him, despite his being in perfect position to make the stop.

And on that Charger play, watch Rodney Hudson drive his defender to the third moon of Jupiter.

I do the same.

Something else that's pretty cool is watching Hudson #61 in the gif of the run against the Chargers. He seals off the edge and gets to the second level masterfully.

Then, re-watch and try and track Eric Fisher. He goes out of view for a second but comes in from across the field to lay a crucial block.

Good shit.

KCrockaholic 10-26-2014 04:32 PM

Looking at the TD again, Frankie Hammond kept EJ Gaines at bay and didn't let him get a good angle on Charles. His downfield "stalk blocking" kept Gaines on his heels. Nice job.

He's amazing.

And really, if he cuts right on the one 17-yard run he had, he scores there too.

What a weapon!

My heart skipped a beat when Charles bobbled that pitch.

Hammock Parties 11-16-2014 04:09 PM

One of his best games ever today. Had two runs over 25 yards and pounded the rock on his other carries.

His average also jumped up to 5.2 YPC LMAO

Jamaal is the ghost of Joe Delaney finishing out his career, period.

Did anyone really doubt that we'd get a huge run outta him after that fumble? I sure as hell didnt, every. single. time. he does something like that he gives us some makeup sex, dude knows how to atone for mistakes like a mfer.

Does someone have the gif of that run he made against the Redskins a few years back? That may have been his best run ever.

As mortals, there are some things we are not meant to understand. We can only appreciate them.

Oh, yeah. If Michaelangelo was a football player, that run would be painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

This really is SAD. We had a good run of RB's with Priest, johnson and Charles.

Man in his prime he was 10x the threat Alex ever dreamed of being. He could take it to the house on any play.

2/28/17: Charles cut
3/1/09: Cassel trade

He's easily the best RB in Chiefs history, right? Not just going by the numbers of course since his tenure here was fairly long.

His only "knock" is that he missed out on being with a good team.

It is no less of a crime then what Detroit did to Barry Sanders

Took a once in 40 years talent, and squandered it
