I call bull. kcstar was the first message board I posted on and it doesn't even compare to CP.

I've never joined any other site, nor have I even checked out any of them. I take everyones word as gospel that this is the best. The star can suck it.

I'm surprised DailySportsPages.com didn't make it.. they have a pretty nice Chiefs forum.

Ive been a member of Wildbills for a long time and that was the first board I knew of. From there I went to the Coalition and I have a bunch of good friends from there and enjoyed my time there and still post there, that said, ChiefsPlanet is by far the best Chiefs site there is.

Whoever wrote that list got threatened by a burning aids tree or something.

Well, this list is for second place nominations I'll presume.

I've never been to most of those, but I was on the old Star board before the planet was created. The old star board was designed pretty bad and the mods loved to ban people. I haven't been back there in the last 9 1/2 years until clicking on that link and I won't be going back again. What a dump that place was/is.

Half the shit on that list is really crappy. Hardly even a Chiefs site.

Of the top five Chiefs sites I'd put up, two or three of them aren't even listed there.

But ChiefsPlanet pretty much deserves to be #1, #2, and #3 on any sane Chiefs fan list.

If you disagree with these findings, you will be banned.

I'm thinking the one and only reason this site isn't number one is because there is so much that isn't Chiefs. So unless you are a regular here you might not realize this is by far the best source for Chiefs information.. plus a **** load more.

I don't visit often, but I generally like the quality of their articles. It's a fan blog, so it's not professional journalism, but at least as good at WPI and less self-promoting. No clue what their forums are like though.

The hilarious thing about this entire thread is that there's zero objectivity.

The truth is that it doesn't matter the appearance order of those Chiefs sites. The site the individual considers their "home" is going to be #1 on their list and for them, that's the correct list. All other factors don't matter. Some people don't care about traffic, pretty graphics, or any other number of dynamics.

Every loyal member of this site will list this site #1. Whereas the two gentlemen who stopped by from Arrowhead Pride will list their site #1.

Another thing I like is that the mods on here are really cool. None of them are power hungry and get butt hurt over small shit. They let posters settle shit themselves instead of interferring and making the situation less entertaining for the rest of us :) . They don't get in their "I'M A MOD, I'M MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU" mode like other forums. Hell I didn't even know morphius was a mod until a few days ago.

Yeah, we consider ourselves regular posters and try to do what we think falls best into the ideals of the site, and we try to promote people who are pretty even keeled.

Perhaps we should take it personal and change this. Why not make 2010 the year Chiefsplanet becomes #1? Atleast #2

I would like to add that what sets this place apart from other sites (for me anyway) is the "on the field" "shit talkin" atmosphere. That is why it does drive me a little nuts when people (other than mods) police posts here and ask some to "tone it down"...that is what you get at the coalition, not here. I like both types of conversation (at the coalition, it is against the terms of service to make personal attacks or even to call another poster names, it is much more civil) and have said that to many posters here, but this place is more entertaining because of its shit talking. Does it go too far sometimes, maybe. But that "gone too far" is very entertaining and most of the time is done in good fun. The people that get offended here are the ones that show up and read their first "I hope you die in a aids tree fire" or "go to store, but 1 case of antifreeze, chug until the lights start to fade, bye...bitch" and have no idea of the history here or the use of certain terms, they just think that if something like that is commonplace that nobody must know shit about football. They missed out.

This place is great, but you must have thick skin to participate.

After reading the list, I visited Arrowhead Pride for the first time.

Lack of objectivity my ass. I can objectively say that site is boring as ****. Not nearly the time killer that this place is. And I highly doubt their mods' claims that they're getting 2000 comments per day. Place looked very slow.
