The "K" should be a ****ing parking lot.

Anyone attending the bash want to go in on some tickets for the Royals game with me?

I'm definitely getting a double parking pass. $3 to get into the lot early? F yeah.
|
Apparently the all day passes are restricted to lot C, whereever that is.

Does that mean gates for MNF tailgating are opening at 3:30? Looks like I'll only be at the Royals game for a little over an hour.
|
I think the hill where everyone was talking about tailgating is over by H, so lot C is not going to work. I'll probably leave and come back and try to park in lot N.

I wonder if I could get option 3 prepaid and park in the grass? I could park out where I know we tailgate to insure no one steals our spot.
|
I'm so excited to watch the Chiefs game on TV...but I gotta be honest, there's a small part of me that is actually thinking of finding a way to try and be there for both the baseball and football games. It's becoming one of those bucket list things. Finances suck and it's the busiest time of the year, but MAN what an opportunity!

Hope to see you at the stadium Bug.

Baseball, Gheyest sport in the world. That pretty much sums it up.

I tailgate with dad and a large group of people. I was going to hang out wherever the CP tailgate is gonna be for a bit. It's the maiden voyage of The Beast (our newly renovated RV). I can't not be at that tailgate.

Lot C? That is a pain in the ass to get out of if you are going West after the game. Screw that.

Actually, if they're opening the lot for Chiefs parking at 3:30, I may just show up then and catch the last half of the Royals game and not have to move my car or be stuck in lot C.

OK, maybe I'm being obtuse, but their little schematic says that lot H (I think that is the one most of you are talking about) will be cleared after teh Royals game for all that don't have a Chiefs parking pass......if you bought the 2-fer thing you would have one. It just doesn't sound too complicated to me.

WTF?
It pisses me off I was forced to buy tickets to a 2nd Chiefs game to secure our CP MNF tickets and now they announce this. |

I might actually go to this. When and where is the CP tailgate going to be at and what is the cost?

Thank you

Heck, it's actually great for the people who are only going to the Chiefs game because you can get in 6 hrs of tailgating. |

I think I'm going to spend the morning at the casino playing poker, and plan on getting to Arrowhead at 3:30 to start tailgating - then I can park wherever the **** I please.
The Royals game isn't that important to me to jump through all these hoops - and it will save me a shit-ton of money on $9.00 beers. |

I talked to a rep yesterday, and you can still get season tickets in row 2 or 3 in every upper deck end zone section at that end of the field. So (most of) our group books in advance and has to buy another ticket, while some slapdick Jackson County resident can buy seats in the 3rd ****ing row of the same section we're in. |

Ill probably get in on this royals deal but will have to wait for the public since i cant go to arrowhead tomorrow
|

With that said, if that slapdick Jackson County resident doesn't have to buy an additional ticket for that seat, that's when I blow a head gasket. |

I guess there won't be any Jackson County residents in our group? The group spending $2500 to attend two games? **** you. The JC resident that gets a better seat and only has to pay for one game? **** you, Chiefs. A group like ours should have the opportunity to have their seat location upgraded the day before single game seats go onsale. Otherwise, there's no benefit to buying this far in advance, only to be sitting 10 rows back of where we could be. |
Just do what I did. I bought tickets from the Frank White Classic site (proceeds help a local high school). I got tickets for less than half the price the Royals are selling them for. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago, and got row K on first base side.

it was the deal when the stadium renovations went through, so now you want them to **** that off to better serve you? |
Quote:
seriously though SHOULDNT they get the first chance to buy tickets? |
Quote:
|
Quote:
Does someone who wants to buy season tickets get offered shittier seats if they aren't a JC resident? Nope. The Chiefs give them the best seat available in the area they choose. In our case, the Chiefs are basically telling a group of fans that just shelled out over $2500 that their business isn't that important. I shouldn't be surprised, considering the shitty customer service Nzoner and KCFish dealt with getting this thing organized. |
Quote:
again that WASNT the deal that the voters who are funding the stadium agreed upon |
Quote:
again it was VOTED on and agreed to when the renovation deal went through. Dont like it? move there. sorry. |

i'm asking that because i dont know. and whats wrong with saving some good seats for the people that you know are actually PAYING for the upgrades? |

Chiefs have always let JC residents get first crack at single game tickets, this is nothing new.

Which is it? It was either voted on that better seats would be set aside for JC residents to buy during the single game purchasing dates, or it wasn't voted on - yet you keep claiming it's part of the deal. |

Yes, JC residents have always had the first opportunity to buy any REMAINING tickets to single games. I've never been witness to them setting aside better seats for the general public sale, however - and that is what I'm arguing. |
