When I was about 13 years old I had a T-Shirt made at the local mall. It was Papa Smurf's head with a mushroom cloud coming off the hat. It said "Nuke The Smurfs". Shitty cartoon becomes shitty movie.

I used to watch the Smurfs on Saturday mornings when I was little. :(

I'd only go see this if I was doing mushrooms.....

I don't really want to watch a live action Dora The Explorer movie either.

Well, I didn't grow up on Dora, so neither would I. The Scooby-Doo movies were pretty lame too, but I watched them as well. Grew up watching that too.

Dora was a great little cartoon. It was educational but extremely entertaining for kids. And it would still suck huge amounts of ass as a live action movie, just like Scooby Doo and Smurfs.

Yep. It's another one of those "It's OK if it sucks because the nostalgia will be so strong that a chunk of people will feel obligated to watch it" kind of movies.

It'll make Land of the Lost look like Avatar, way to strike while the irons hot!

To be fair, its made for 5 to 10 year olds.......which doesnt explain Luv's odd fascination with it?? : )

Dora is one of the most annoying, worthless, piece of shit cartoons out there.

It reminds me of when I was 5-10 years old. Back when my only responsibilities were going to school, doing homework, playing, and being home before the street lights came on.

It's great if your a five year old girl.
