McDaniels can take 52 guys off the street and will the Donks to the postseason with Tebow at the helm.

Ayers has told reporters that his elbow injury isn't anything serious.

I almost feel sorry for the Broncos this year. Injuries all over the place...

Source: Broncos' Ayers out with broken foot
By Mike Klis
The Denver Post

Broncos' outside linebacker Robert Ayers has suffered a broken foot, according to an NFL source. Ayers is expected to be out two to three months.

Denver's Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker, who suffered foot fractures prior to the NFL draft, essentially missed the entire offseason.

Ayers is the team's top pass rusher.

With Ayers out, the Broncos have only two other outside linebackers on the 53-man roster, Jason Hunter and Jarvis Moss, though starting inside linebacker Mario Haggan started all of 2009 outside.

"Certainly the injuries don't make it easy, but we've been dealing with that for quite some time now," Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said this morning. "The next guy's got to step up and play well. We've got to give them a good game plan. We might have to be creative with a few things that we do, but that's part of everyone's season. Everyone has to go through roster decisions and make their minds up on how to make up for players that can't play, and that's where we are right now."
That, plus...

Dawkins, Ayers out against Jets
By MIKE KLIS

Josh McDaniels just announced five players would not play Sunday against the New York Jets because of injuries _ safety Brian Dawkins (knee), outside linebacker Robert Ayers (undisclosed), cornerback Andre’ Goodman (thigh), special teams captain Wesley Woodyard (hamstring) and safety Darcel McBath (ankle).

Hammock Parties 10-11-2010 04:11 PM

Stay down, bitches.

Jason Hunter was a little league All Pro for 2 years/youknow

BryanBusby 10-11-2010 05:34 PM

The Jets are going to literally destroy them Sunday and drop them to 2-4. They haven't even played a divisional rival yet.
