mesmith31 10-02-2010 10:48 AM

Any streaming sites to watch the Kansas/Baylor game online?

Al Bundy 10-02-2010 10:53 AM

Baylor is an awful team.. they are going to finish dead last in the Big 12 south.

Al Bundy 10-02-2010 11:09 AM

Well.. good to KU getting waxed on Fox regional coverage huh Wickedson?

Priest31kc 10-02-2010 11:10 AM

Illinois up 10-7 on Ohio St nearing half, Ohio St. in FG range tho.

Priest31kc 10-02-2010 11:14 AM

Ok, Ohio St back up 14-10, 45 sec. left in half.

KU with a gift touchdown... phantom pass interference call that got them close. These two teams are beyond bad.

SPchief 10-02-2010 11:24 AM

the Baylor qb could watch a movie back there

luv 10-02-2010 11:35 AM

Ole Miss and Kentucky tied at 14. Ole Miss on first and goal if this catch isn't ruled incomplete. Looks like ground caused the fumble.

94 yard touchdown pass for Baylor

Fumble by KU. Karma for the Webb flop.

Baylor's gonna put up 400 yards of offense. In the first half.

They're just setting up a huge second half comeback! I'm really enjoying this game/Wickedson

BWillie 10-02-2010 11:53 AM

Annnnd Pryor goes down w/ some sort of knee or leg injury?

Tactical Funky 10-02-2010 11:53 AM

Man, this is the Murphy's Law game for KU. Typical young team shooting themselves in the feet on the road with turnovers and penalties in the red zone. I still say they win a couple more at home this season, but that's it; about what I expected after last year, but it still sucks.

kstater 10-02-2010 12:19 PM

TD Baylor

beer bacon 10-02-2010 12:19 PM

34-7... I thought KU had a chance in this game.

Zaiko 10-02-2010 12:20 PM

I knew they didn't.. Gill is not near the coach Mangino is, being "mean" to the players aside.

Plus, KU sucks, and Baylor is decent.

KcMizzou 10-02-2010 12:23 PM

Of course we do; did you witness our epic slide last season? I don't know what people expected after losing three of our best playmakers in history and starting a redshirt freshman QB with an awful offensive line.

I have no idea if TG is our guy or not, but I'm at least willing to let him get his recruits in.

BWillie 10-02-2010 12:34 PM

Their record was not good last season, but they at least were competitive in a lot of those games.. and they still won 5 I think.

KcMizzou 10-02-2010 12:39 PM

Yeah, but they sucked complete ass in conference. I suppose this was to be expected.

*EDIT* - Wow, I'm simply laughing at this point after that INT return for a TD. This is so incredibly, ridiculously bad.

Not complete ass man. They played okay and were in the games for several of them.

They weren't getting beat 48-7 to Baylor. Their worst loss was by like 30 at Texas..

That's because we actually had some good players. We lost our best QB ever, our best WR ever, and one of our best RBs ever after last season.

I really thought you'd turned the corner after that win against GT. Hard to believe this is the same group of players.

Zaiko 10-02-2010 12:49 PM

That's true.. I just think they're stupid for letting Mangino go and hope they lose em all.

But, I feel the same way about Tech too.

As bad as we're playing against Baylor, I don't think we're quite as bad as we look today. Might be an up-and-down season (or at least I hope so, because that would mean at least a couple more wins). Hell, I'll take one more win at this point...

We really had no choice on Mangino. We wouldn't have been able to recruit at all after that PR nightmare if he'd remained our coach.

kstater 10-02-2010 12:56 PM

Baylor just ticked across 600 yards in less than 3 quarters. Just wait until Gill gets his recruits in.

I don't understand how home field advantage is such a huge deal in college football, and well every sport. I played sports in high school, it didn't change the way I felt, played, or anything whenever we traveled somewhere else. Usually, it was the opposite. I felt more relaxed because less people I knew were watching. I don't get it. The field is the same regulation size. Nothing is different except the people in the stands. Gives credit to the stance that sports are a very psychological game.

kstater 10-02-2010 01:28 PM

Excellent D on that drive. Only gave up 70 yards and kneeldown(gamecast wasn't clear)? To a team you know is gonna run it on every play.

They copied the Chiefs defense of 2003-2009.

Tactical Funky 10-02-2010 01:33 PM

Welp, glad that's over. What a complete abortion of a game. Frustrating that KU had opportunities to NOT get blown away, but giving up that 94-yard TD just killed their spirit and it was like a boulder rolling downhill after that.

I don't know how much better they would have done in Lawrence.

I never thought Baylor could whip out the can of whipass on anyone in the Big 12.

I stand corrected.

Not talking directly about the KU game, but just in general. Northwestern goes to Minnesota, barely eeks out a victory. If they play at Northwestern (which is an extremely docile place to play) the Wildcats probably win by at least 17. KU probably loses by about 3 TD's instead of 20 lol

DaKCMan AP 10-02-2010 01:42 PM

Go LSU and Go Texas.

and, of course, later on GO GATORS! and go Stanford!

Texas sucks. Mack Brown has no excuse for ever losing more than 3 games in a season with the talent they bring in.

Had more to do with my thought that Oklahoma was overrated, although they looked really good against Florida State. Neither team's been as strong as their ranking so far this year...

Bowser 10-02-2010 01:55 PM

So are Nebraska fans actually pulling for Texas today?

They're both overrated. OU played great against FSU while Texas hasn't look good in any game.

Zaiko 10-02-2010 01:57 PM

OU has looked rough in a couple, but they just blew FSU away, who has looked solid other than the thrashing OU gave em. I think they are definitely deserving of the 8 ranking.

I doubt it. They probably want the Sooners to stay undefeated through conference play, so when they play in the B12 Championship, it'll help the winner a lot more.

Bowser 10-02-2010 02:02 PM

Sooners making it look easy.....
