I have no idea what it is, but it tastes good.

Mmmmm

It evidently makes them better. At least that's what my wife thinks. I personally don't care for them.

If I ever have another Bit O Honey I'll try this.

I don't even know where to buy Bit O Honey. I'll have to see if my store has them.

You're lucky toilet paper is hard to come by these days.

I always appreciated a good variety in my Halloween bucket. Yes, I want the good stuff for the majority. But I liked seeing candies that I had never had before or that I only saw on Halloween. I like Bit-o-Honey, DOTS, Tootsie Rolls, Milk Duds, stuff like that.

There isn't a lot of candy I hate. I'm not a big fan of coconut things like Mounds or Almond Joy but I'll eat them. I've always hated Whoppers.

My 5 year old loves plain m&ms and suckers and pretty boring candy in general really. So I get his Halloween haul to myself mostly. None of the work, all of the reward.

I'm talking the single serving penny candy size. Look in your local store candy aisle, not at the checkout. The original big sized bars are harder to find.

Reese's is ALWAYS #1
Snickers
Twix
Butterfinger
Kit Kat
100 Grand

I'm also a huge fan of those carmel apple suckers.

Rain Man,

I demand from this point forward you meet every trick an treater with this this approach if they want candy!

I only buy Reese's Peanut Butter Cups "for the kids". That's the only candy bar-type thing I like. I buy way too many bags and then keep my fingers crossed that the fewest kids possible will come to the door.

Last year with covid and an unusually cold Halloween night in Denver, I ended up eating about 6 large leftover bags between Halloween and Christmas. Put on around 15 lbs, which took me almost all January to burn off.

Taking some serious willpower not to open a bag right now, but I'm holding strong....so far.

I'll model my approach from this.

"Do you want a peanut butter cup? Do you? Give me 20 more situps! I bet you don't have it in you. Are you in second grade or did your momma boink the teacher to pass you into third! I've seen your type. Can't even write in cursive and you think you should have an Apple phone! Well, you don't get that treatment here. I'll eat your homework and then vomit it on your little sister's face! Would you like that, maggot? Give me 20 more!"
