Bowe at 70% is still much better than anyone else we have at WR. |

The only thing besides injury that I can think of this being is that they are putting in some new wrinkles that they don't want the media to see. But they can do that in the closed portion of practice. I don't know.

Did he say if he'll he probably, questionable or doubtful?

It's the playoffs!!!! If Tinkle Tom Brady plays with the flu, Bowe better play with herpes! |

It's basically a huge fine if the Chiefs lie about Bowe's ailment. I have no reason not to believe he's not sick.

What did they list Cassel as for the Chargers game?
|
Illness.
Just a temporary Barforama....hopefully the rest of the team doesn't get it. |

The ailment fine thing is very true. Though how would they know if this was done at the request of Bowe? He would be the only one who would know.

I hope they all sneezed on the Raiders' players. |
Bowe might as well be an amputee for how well he uses his hands. Much like Arkansas entire team from last night.

Edit: Or maybe his league leading 15 touchdown receptions? No that doesn't make sense either. |

Kansas City confident Bowe will play Sun. He is sick, but nothing more than that. No hidden injuries. The WR will be ready to go vs. Ravens |

Why is nothing easy with this team?

It's hard to take this at face value though, especially when it was reported right after the game that he was limping badly. I'm far from a pessimistic person on this stuff though, and I think my posting history would show that. |

So you think when he mentioned this before any of this came out about Bowe missing practice today, he was just making up that he was limping? |

However, (inserting opinion here) I think Nick W. tends to see what he wants to see if it'll make a better story . . . Not saying he makes things up but he can be "dramatic". Not unlike a certain poster whom I have on ignore who likes to stir the crap. *edited to add, living here, I tend to ignore most of the radio/newspaper articles that come out of KC. I'm highly unimpressed with what you guys have to suffer through as far as sports reporting/talk if what's posted here serves as a typical example. |

Do you honestly think that if Bowe were to NOT play, we would have a decent chance? Even if Bowe plays we will need to play a very clean game / near perfect. That's the point I was trying to make.. |

I'm sure I am looking at the worst possible outcome here, probably because of the Cassel appendectomy being called an illness earlier in the season. |
Quote:
Am I saying he is not injured? No. All I am saying is that what was perceived to be an issue after 3 hours of football on Sunday afternoon may not be an issue at all. |
Quote:
I'm not claiming to know something more, but I'm also not brushing it off. |

And, one of the toughest players in the league, Andre Johnson, missed the final two weeks of the season with an ankle injury after he was able to play the entire game in week 15. He was also seen limping badly in the locker room after that game. |
Now we know why they signed Curtis Kelley... So Bowe is done for the playoffs?

They signed Curtis because if the OL can't block they need someone who can run a slant and catch the ball other than Bowe.
