That's no excuse. Every other team in the league had the same issue. Pioli is supposed to be the best in that kind of situation.

We look as bad as when he took over?

Really?
Yes.

Cassel is on pace to have a season almost identical to the one he had in 2009.

The Chiefs are horrible on offense (26th) and defense (26th) and are getting blown out with regularity.

And I think we can all agree it only gets more difficult from here on out.

This season is headed south. In a month people are going to hate this regime.

In a month? I instantly knew how shitty this regime was when they drafted TJax. The TJax pick says everything about the current state of the Chiefs organization, just like the Tebow pick for the Broncows and Russell for the Raiders. The TJax pick told me immediately that the people running the Chiefs have absolutely no idea what it takes to win, and win consistently in the League.

I'm not particularly inclined to support him.

They suck.

So, three years/drafts should be all it takes to turn around a club mired in shit for a solid 9, maybe 10 years? its just that simple huh?

And yeah, you're right, the usual suspects will be calling for their heads in a few weeks (many already are), as we face the toughest part of the schedule without the two guys needed most to have a good shot at those games, lashing out at something unnecessary just to show how smart and ahead of the curve they are.

I never did.

I'm still a believer in giving a HC 3 years.

Let the season play out and after 3 years look over the whole product and make a decision...

ok we get it you hate Haley fine. Whats your answer then? Who do you want for a coach? And don't give some BS answer that isn't gonna happen. Who's it gonna be? I'd ask you who you want position to position but you all ready have a terrible past at backing players. Your fave WR/RB option from 4 years ago pointed that out.

You're asking that question to the 'Amoral Opportunist' straight from Central Casting.

Its all a game.

'Hamas' Jenkins 11-10-2011 09:01 PM

Haley is somewhat like Cassel. Both are "just a guy"s Peter Principled up to their point of incompetence.

I don't believe that about Haley.

I don't believe he was ready for the position, and he's still learning every year, and every week.

And while I am one who adamantly argues that Haley, as the HC, is the boss, and these OCs need adjust to his philosophy, I do also believe that he needs mellow and bend some as well.

He needs to find coordinators he trusts, but in time, I still feel he has the tools to be an outstanding HC.

Cassel, on the other hand, is just a useless piece of shit.

evenfall 11-10-2011 09:52 PM

Thats what i thought you are a pussy. You want to whine and bitch about Haley(always after the fact of course) You are just a whiner. Either poop or get off the pot. If you don't have answers stop your crying. DD and LJ were not the only things you were wrong about any ways. You want a new coach you tell me who will be better. Be a man... well i guess that isnt possible at least be an adult(who lives in your moms basement)

Yep, these guys have a penchant for getting dominated. Let's review:

2009

Ravens 38, Chiefs 24 - A "close game," but the Chiefs get outgained 501-188. Total domination by the Ravens.

Eagles 34, Chiefs 14 - Outgained 420-196. Cassel has a 124.5 QB rating, cus he's awesome.

Giants 27, Chiefs 16 - The Chiefs score two garbage time TDs that makes the score appear closer than it really was. 429-212.

Chargers 37, Chiefs 7 - Pitiful. 403-203.

Chargers 43, Chiefs 13 - Disgusting. 426-284.

Broncos 44, Chiefs 13 - Appalling. 413-222.

2010

Broncos 49, Chiefs 29 - Suddenly, smart fans realize Pioli and Haley are huge frauds.

Chargers 31, Chiefs 0 - 426-67. Brodie Croyle, you say? I say, look at the first game of 2009. No excuses for this.

Raiders 31, Chiefs 10 - 344-201

Ravens 30, Chiefs 7 - Hey, look! 32 games into the Pioli era and the Chiefs are still getting their asses kicked by the Baltimore Ravens! 390-161.

2011

Bills 41, Chiefs 7 - 364-213

Lions 48, Chiefs 3 - 411-267

Dolphins 31, Chiefs 3 - 351-343. I didn't even realize it was possible to match an opponent yard for yard and lose by 28 with NO TURNOVERS.

Summary:

Haley is 18-23 counting the 2010 Baltimore Ravens playoff scrimmage. In 13 of his 23 losses the team has been outright dominated. And THE MAJORITY of those blowouts have come in the last two years when the Chiefs were supposedly "getting better."

Seven of those losses have come at home, meaning that at least twice a year, Arrowhead Stadium season ticket holders can count on witnessing a complete embarrassment. That's 25% of their gameday experiences for the year. One quarter of the time, Haley and Pioli embarrass Arrowhead Stadium.

Future potential blowouts:

@ New England
Pittsburgh
@Chicago
@New York
Green Bay
Oakland

What is your point penis puffer? If you want to root for another team do it. You are in the dictionary right next to attention whore!!

Hey, if you have issues with your personal life there are people that can help you. BwaHaaHaa.

Hope you don't have to sleep alone again tonight. Foregone conclusion!!

O.city 11-11-2011 10:06 PM

I can see the 2009 season. Not much talent on the roster then.

The fact that we are still getting blown out, to me, is solely on the fact that someone thought Matt Cassel could come in a be a franchise qb.

IM getting really close to being done with Haley. Time and time again, he is unable to get his team prepared to play. The problems with this team extend beyond just Cassel.

Dexter McCluster has touched the ball more than anyone today.

Baldwin, Bowe and Breaston have combined for about six targets...

Just pathetic.

BossChief 11-13-2011 01:28 PM

Its really not hard to narrow the field.

Take the top ten offenses and defenses and take a deeper look into their coordinators.

Did they get their team to overplay their talent?

Do they fit what we want to do (since its obvious that isnt gonna change)

Do they already have a connection to Pioli or Parcells?

Are they a good fit for our young locker room?

I bet I could spend a couple hours and narrow it down to about 5 guys that would make sense.

Our playcalling had our shitty ass QB putting the team in scoring range on the majority of the first half drives. And when Palko began winning it to the other team, it was over.

What are you supposed to do as a coach when you have to throw away every single play in your playbook over 20 yards?

Don't punt on 4th and inches in Pat territory and then go for an onside kick. Haley sucks.

JFC. So we lost this game because of one calculated risk and one situational 50/50 call? Not because of Leonard Pope and Tyler Palko and Donald Washington?
