Probably gonna piss off a few by saying this but if Cassel had been in there last night you would have scored more than 3 and converted on alot more of those drives you got on their side of the field without all the INT's..

Also Cassel throws much better than Palko.

I realize that Cassel is hurt and the team had no choice very similar to my Raiders when you guys destroyed us with Boller but to all those haters who said it can't get worse than Cassel... It just did. I watched the game this morning at 6 am and the cute plays were disgusting, Haley made it worse by having Palko run around like a kid with extreme ADD... The Palko lead offense looked bad and nothing like I have seen in many years of watching the Chiefs.. Cassel may not be the best qb for you guys but he is light years ahead of Palko.

Treasure these moments.....

Dude, I'm 40. I treasure winning in the regular season, but you gotta understand -- the window on Brady is closing. Every year without a championship is hollow under these circumstances. Plus the pressure is mounting after 3 straight years of no polayoff victories.

Everybody knows what you're up to...the longer Cassel is here, the better it is for your Raiders...

I have no control whatsoever on your QB situation... Would I rather have Cassel here than Aaron Rodgers? Of course but if after last night you think Palko is the answer, you are nuttier than squirrel shit, that guy looked like a bad arena football QB

Nobody thinks Palko is the answer. We just KNOW that Cassel isn't the answer...

You're in Calcutta in an alleyway eating filet mignon and drinking 30 year-old scotch, and we're all street urchins who are very interested in your complaints about the lack of richness of the bernaise sauce.

That may very well be true but sometimes you have to look at the play calling as well... I just think you guys are looking for someone to burn at the stake and the QB is the easiest to blame...

Like Parker said, we know what you are up to. 2 1/2 years of Cassel was enough of a sample, we know he is not capable.

In any case, I love reading CP as you guys are always intelligent, and quite humorous and entertaining. I thank all of you for your wisdom and appreciate your points of view...

hey! WTF? are you now......un-trolling? are you....llort-ing?
ALL of us aren't intelligent, humorous & entertaining......I am....but not all of us....

I didn't have a problem with the cheatriots scoring again either.
and you didn't have a problem with us doing same to the faders because you hate them. doesn't everybody?

Look man, when I Troll I Troll but I am not trolling today, I am not kicking you guys when you are down, as a matter of fact I hate it when this site is like this because trolling is not fun at these times...

I watch the Chiefs play anytime they are not on at the same time the Raiders are so I can say as a fan of the game I am only pointing out what I see and I think you do need a better QB but Cassel is by far the best on this team

This team has looked entirely different since Weiss left... Is that the problem maybe?

Pope's holding call was the only thing that pissed me off last night officiating wise. He got flagged for completely owning a guy...and it was a late flag at that. :spock:

3. Holding call on . . . . errr, that Pope? Whoever it was that wiped out Edelman. Yeah, ticky-tack.

4. Endless bitching about refs in the game thread -- pathetic. Just pathetic, endless "the refs SCREWED us!!!111 giggity giggity". Just stop it. Make the complaint and move on. EVERY team in the NFL thinks the refs are out to get them. My Dad spent 50 years bitching about refs and umpires in every inning, quarter and period of every sport he ever watched. It was stupid then for him, and it's stupid now for you.

Completely hypocritical to point at a bad call and then tell everyone else they're pathetic for doing the same thing, and to "Just Stop It:.

You were spot on on the 4th and 1 though, Haley is a moron for not going for it, that's a competely stupid coaching move against a low ranked defense (or was before last night). And to think, he's coaching with his job on the line, makes it even worse. Perfect example of why he should get canned.

Look here, chap! The Patriots have underachieved greatly! Why, I've celebrated Red Sox, Celtics, AND Bruins parades since they've last won a Super Bowl all the way back in 2004! That was seven years, you know!

It really hasnt, its looked pretty much the same. Only difference is, we are playing good teams now. Look how Cassel played against the Ravens in the play off game?

It has nothing to do with Weiss. Any half assed knowledgeable Chiefs fan will point that out. Imo, thats the reason why Weiss left, he said **** Cassel he's terrible. He said he was brought in to fix the qb. When he realized there can be no fixing, he ****ing split.

Just a morsel, sir? Perhaps a crumb of bread or a wildcard round win? We're very hungry.

I certainly understand not liking to listen to the whining about bad calls. Surely you remember back in the day NE was very similar to KC and one bad/borderline call was a killer. This KC team is no different than those before it, unable to overcome borderline bad calls. That holding call against Pope was horrible and it was right as KC was driving for the potential to go up 10-0.

I realize that it would probably wind up as another FG, but they had the potential. Whether or not that changes the game chemistry will remain a mystery.

What did it for me, however, was on the subsequent drive, NE runs a screen pass to the near side and the OLman did the same thing to KCs' CB that Pope did against the WR/DB -- grasping inside the frame on the shoulders, the DB couldnt get away to make the tackle and he was struggling right in front of a linesman.

I turned the game off after that -- it appears KC got the message and laid down after that. The final score was actually closer than I had anticipated. I figured 40+ for NE and a doughnut for KC.

In this league the 'good' teams get a benefit of the doubt on close calls where the bad teams are not afforded that luxury. It's a mindset similar to the reason why Oakland is typically the team with the most penalties every year -- they're the bad boys of the league.

What bad calls? They we're perfectly scripted calls. Flawlessly executed by the professionals making them...
