Also Cassel throws much better than Palko. I realize that Cassel is hurt and the team had no choice very similar to my Raiders when you guys destroyed us with Boller but to all those haters who said it can't get worse than Cassel... It just did. I watched the game this morning at 6 am and the cute plays were disgusting, Haley made it worse by having Palko run around like a kid with extreme ADD... The Palko lead offense looked bad and nothing like I have seen in many years of watching the Chiefs.. Cassel may not be the best qb for you guys but he is light years ahead of Palko. |

Dude, I'm 40. I treasure winning in the regular season, but you gotta understand -- the window on Brady is closing. Every year without a championship is hollow under these circumstances. Plus the pressure is mounting after 3 straight years of no polayoff victories. |

ALL of us aren't intelligent, humorous & entertaining......I am....but not all of us.... I didn't have a problem with the cheatriots scoring again either. and you didn't have a problem with us doing same to the faders because you hate them. doesn't everybody? |

I watch the Chiefs play anytime they are not on at the same time the Raiders are so I can say as a fan of the game I am only pointing out what I see and I think you do need a better QB but Cassel is by far the best on this team |

Pope's holding call was the only thing that pissed me off last night officiating wise. He got flagged for completely owning a guy...and it was a late flag at that. :spock:

You were spot on on the 4th and 1 though, Haley is a moron for not going for it, that's a competely stupid coaching move against a low ranked defense (or was before last night). And to think, he's coaching with his job on the line, makes it even worse. Perfect example of why he should get canned. |

It has nothing to do with Weiss. Any half assed knowledgeable Chiefs fan will point that out. Imo, thats the reason why Weiss left, he said **** Cassel he's terrible. He said he was brought in to fix the qb. When he realized there can be no fixing, he ****ing split. |

I certainly understand not liking to listen to the whining about bad calls. Surely you remember back in the day NE was very similar to KC and one bad/borderline call was a killer. This KC team is no different than those before it, unable to overcome borderline bad calls. That holding call against Pope was horrible and it was right as KC was driving for the potential to go up 10-0.
I realize that it would probably wind up as another FG, but they had the potential. Whether or not that changes the game chemistry will remain a mystery. What did it for me, however, was on the subsequent drive, NE runs a screen pass to the near side and the OLman did the same thing to KCs' CB that Pope did against the WR/DB -- grasping inside the frame on the shoulders, the DB couldnt get away to make the tackle and he was struggling right in front of a linesman. I turned the game off after that -- it appears KC got the message and laid down after that. The final score was actually closer than I had anticipated. I figured 40+ for NE and a doughnut for KC. In this league the 'good' teams get a benefit of the doubt on close calls where the bad teams are not afforded that luxury. It's a mindset similar to the reason why Oakland is typically the team with the most penalties every year -- they're the bad boys of the league. |
