The Broncos have the 2nd longest sell out streak in the NFL. The number of no-shows per game are announced and the general loudness of the fans is subjective. Also, you live in Boulder. Boulder is hardly representative of Colorado or the surrounding area. Also, you are talking to college students. The goofy students at CU are hardly representative of the population of Colorado or Bronco fans. I used to live in Boulder. I won't even go visit in that hole anymore.

I have no doubt they're making a push, Mr. listopencil. But, you're right ... it's impossible to know what's really going on. These "reporters" are going off half-cocked in all directions just to keep their names/bylines associated with the Manning situation. And I, for one, have never fully trusted a half-cocked person.

I never expected to get him, we have a HC that as a DC led him to much whining about his WR's being bumped too much. We have replaced our OC every year for what seems like forever. He always beats the crap out of us, so why play for a team that you can own. It probably helps that I've always disliked him, so if he ends up in donkeyland then I can still root against him.

From what I have been able to discern, street names have something to do with the person using the name. Like, for example, "One Toe" had 9 toes shot off during a gun battle and "Lipo" has enormous love handles. Stuff like that. It's true that I use the phone quite a bit and I do frequently forget the number, so I spend an inordinate amount of time listening to dial tones, but how would you know that?
