I've always just kind of assumed that almost all super fans out there had some sort of mental problems. Not talking about just a guy in a chief headdress that shows up for a game or two, but the guys that dress full up in costume and go to every game.

That's a pretty broad brush. I personally know two of them (FDE and WierdWolf) and that's not their style. They're just passionate about their team.

I'm just speculating, but I think part of the reason Stevieray migrated away from the FDE schtick was because the attention got to be too much. It's pretty hard to hang out tailgating with friends when you are constantly bombarded with photo requests.

I've seen a million of these guys come and go at Arrowhead. Krazy George, Helmet Head, Belly Boy, etc etc etc.

Some are very cool and represent themselves and the team well (ex: Weird Wolf, FDE, Arrowman) some are just annoying (Helmet Head, Belly Boy). X-Factor seems like a guy who lives in his mom's basement and needs to get a date with an actual girl (or guy I guess in this case).

There'll always be guys like that at Arrowhead. It just comes with the sport.

Thats where I'm at, there are cool ones and there are clowns... I've said for years and mean it that I always used to love seeing FDE.

His outfits were always top of the line and he never acted like a clown, just struck a few E poses and curled his lip or smiled.

Dayze 01-07-2015 01:10 PM

yeah, FDE was legit.

I'm sure X-Factor is a good guy....I just simply for the life of me do not understand the costume. LMAO

I forget where I saw the video, but I think I saw one of you doing your FDE at an Indy game. I'm thinking in the parking lot or parking garage? maybe. The video was great, if i recall, because everything was just normal / you were acting normal, then BAM in a split second....went into FDE mode.

Ahhhh. Leonard. He always made sure he kept a few for us when it was close to cutoff time.

We see his son occasionally at Royals games. Last I heard, he's had some health issues but is doing ok. Pretty much retired from vending.

Bufkin 01-07-2015 02:40 PM

So stevieray is First Down Elvis? That has to be the closest thing to a celebrity we have on Chiefs Planet not named Jason Whitlock right? I have fond memories of sitting near FDE and hearing him get shit on by Dallas fans.

Tonka83 01-07-2015 03:04 PM

Mad Mike or whatever his name was back in the 80s that used to walk around with the drum was pretty cool. I'm sure it wasn't easy getting 18'000 people to get loud, but the dude tried.

Dayze 01-07-2015 03:06 PM

I've always wondered if guys like Riggle and Rudd didnt maybe peruse the place once in a while.

Brad Pitts little "how bout them Chiefs" thing on tv last year also made me wonder a bit, but nah he's way too big and busy rescuing the worlds orphans, too casual a fan I'd bet.

Eleazar 01-07-2015 03:10 PM

Didn't this person come around and invite CP to join him at a certain gate to chant and 'dance around opposing fans' and this place dogpiled him for that? Maybe he has not come back here since?

He's been around several times in the last year, usually when threads taking shots at him like this pop up... I have nothing against him personally, he seems like a nice guy that tries to use his persona around the community for good.

But his outfit is just quite simply a mess.

I agree. Doesn't apply to Lynn and Stevieray.

But, I don't think Stevieray was bugged too much at my tailgates. Mostly everyone knew each other. We would get out of towners visiting Arrowhead for the first time. The Tee-pee gang was next to us so I'm sure when he went up there he got bugged.

Is he the same guy who used to work Nebraska football games before he came to KC? I read something about that. Apparently he was paid or compensated somehow to do his thing. He had a falling out of some sort and moved his act to Arrowhead.

Krazy George was hired by the Houston Oilers to do his thing down there. He became a mercenary. According to Wiki, he was "hired" by the Chiefs to do his thing.

Now there's enough people who show up and do it for free.
