Well, shit. I grew to really like the guy from his days of trolling over at Orangemane and his posts over here. All I can really think to say is that at least his suffering is over and he will be missed. RIP.

Hey man would you do me a favor. I don't remember my log in and password for over there. If you would link or put this info over there it would be appreciated. I know a lot of the guys over there meant a lot to him. Thanks in advance.

I know most of you hate me. But I am friends with some of you (Rausch, I'm looking at you.) and Crazy and I had a great friendship (as good as you can have over the internet). I read this on my phone coming back from work and wanted to give my condolences in this thread. We talked regularly over PM about the Broncos, Chiefs and his love of cars. I hope the best for him and his family.

ChiefsCountry 08-12-2012 12:47 PM

While I thought the dude was a complete ****ing idiot on football and told him that several times, death is something that you don't want to happen to anymore. RIP.

Dude, I had crazyhorse mixed up with you for some reason. Glad to see you are alive (and it's awful to see that crazyhorse died)...thought it was kind of strange when I read this thread because I thought I had seen you post recently.

RIP crazyhorse. I didn't ever have any interactions with him, but he seemed like a cool guy.

Indeed. Nice work, Phil. It's a shame the lounge has been renamed twice recently for such a sad occasion.

I think we should honor CH by banning GoChiefs for a day. He'd have wanted that.

Actually no he wouldn't of. He would of told everyone that that wasn't necessary. And that although he didn't care much for him. He did realize that that was part of who GoChiefs was then and is now and that that is alright. Let it define GoChiefs not Crazyhorse.

And not to mention that recently when I asked for some help for a friend who was in the hospital again. GoChiefs was the one that was going to help me out with a link so that he could get to see the games. Dan was aware of this.

You all meant something to him. He knew that although we all may bang heads on the Chiefs when it counted most this place will rally around one another.
He never forgot the overwhelming outreach of support when this very first happened to him not only from the members here but the members on the donko board.

Setsuna 08-12-2012 02:00 PM

What? How could those "doctors" screw that up? That's terrible. Incompetence needs to be punished. Sorry.

Thanks Phobia. He wouldn't of like the extra attention and thought that someone else would of deserved it more. But he would of appreciated it while trying to downplay the honor.

DaneMcCloud 08-12-2012 02:03 PM

CrazyHorse and I rarely agreed but he was a good dude. Godspeed, Good Sir.

johnny961 08-12-2012 02:06 PM

Damn. Too many people dying far too young lately. I did not know him other than a couple of interactions on the board but he seemed to be a good guy. RIP crazyhorse. Prayers to the family.

He will be missed.

He's a poster that spent some time over on the OMane as well. He will be missed.

Oh, I know he wouldn't have been a big fan of the attention but it's done. If he sends me a PM asking me to change it, I'll be very creeped out.

People love their cliques or their own posts more than reading other peoples stuff. (I am especially guilty)

BigRedChief 08-12-2012 06:21 PM

Mods, Crazyhorse was a great poster for a long time. A valued member of the community. Props for the quick name change of the Lounge. Now, how about a sticky for this thread?

Chiefs Pantalones 08-12-2012 06:24 PM

Not at all saying it shouldn't, but I actually have a theory that sticky threads get overlooked more than normal threads. That's part of why I've always hated them.

Like DaFace, I tend to believe they get overlooked.

I know they are almost always an afterthtought for me.

Pretty sure the lung transplant happened a while back. My guess is things didn't work out as well as hoped. (But I could be wrong.)

Dr. Fever correctly pointed out to me that this is in the OP. In my haste and after posting an earlier inquiring thread I tuned in and just read the first part of the OP. Thanks Dr. Fever. It IS a little embarrassing but I am in a bit of a shock by the news. :(

See that's why I put it in a rep so you could avoid any public embarrassment. Now you've pointed it out though, heh.

It seems like you may have been a friend of his. Sorry for your loss.

Jim was the bomb and I frequently think of him and how much this place misses his presence. Sure, he was a strong willed, opinionated and gruff **** but he commanded and deserved respect.

Unlike many of the mealy-mouthed, social-networking, stupid mother****ing, Have-Nothing-To-Do-With-Chiefs, crowd.

They botched the first one and he recently went in for another transplanet and he got an infection and died unexpectantly.
