If Geno Smith had decided to become a famous artist those many years ago, Barkley would make an adequate selection for a franchise that hasn't drafted a QB in the first round since 1983.

Well we aren't winning one with the guys we have. He isn't my first choice and I am not one to say draft a QB for the sake of drafting one. That being said, at some point you have to take a chance if he is the only good option available.

Come on. He posted on May 1st that Geno was his QB. Far earlier than most who evaluate QBs for a profession.

He has said that Barkley wouldn't be unacceptable as a top 10 pick if Geno is gone. I think most would agree to that, myself included.

I'm in the anti Geno camp till I see more from him. He looks like a Vince Young dumbass QB. I'll see after the season what his wonderlic is and more interviews, but his mechanics aren't great and he never looks off a receiver and goes through progressions in any highlights of him I've seen.

I've always been skeptical when it comes to Barkley.

Not because he's another USC QB. I really don't care about that. It's because every time I've ever seen him play, I feel like it's confirming that his tools are not that elite.

His arm strength is pretty average IMO. Just seems like every throw of his takes a long time to get there.

God I wish we had lost 5 extra games last year. Luck and RGIII are so head and shoulders above any of the 2012 QB class I am just plain sad.

Palmer was a quality QB for many years and I disagree he's Sanchez for starters he was a 4 year starter and more accurate with the ball.

Barkley has looked better up to date than all of the USC QB's. The only reason Sanchez looked so great his first 2 years in the NFL is because his teams were stacked. Now that they aren't, he sucks.
