I'm sure I'm the only one, but I didn't care for the part about the poll. Not only was it irrelevant it also sounded to me like, "We want input on who the next GM would be".
I thought you knocked the rest of it out of the park. |

Does Pearson always defend Romeo like this?

Shit. As if they're trying to pick the ****ing GM by having some fun throwing names out. What a dumbshit. Great stuff, Marty! As usual.
Tonight, I state our case on Barry's podcast. :fire: |

I listened to this live earlier.
Marty you did a great job, sounded so professional and non-emotional, and made a great case for the cause. Pos rep coming your way! |

Pearson, of course, took it the wrong way as was to be expected. It's difficult to do one of those interviews without saying something that winds up being misinterpreted. Almost impossible, really. FAX |
I think it would have been cool to mention that SOC has been contacted by the Chargers, etc. regarding how to start their own movement.
ROFL We should franchise this deal ... like McDonalds ... 1 billion hambastards fired! FAX |
Good job.
I like the idea of stating the goal for the blackout game and not getting ahead of ourselves. One step at a time. |
Ran out of time. I was going to.

I was surprised by the amount of time spent on the parking issue.
First of all, I have been operating under the assumption that parking fees went to the county ... not to the Chiefs. Second of all, who cares about where or if people park? We're not trying to save meter maids here. Third of all, showing up for the games and tailgating but refusing to enter the stadium seems like one of the best insults we could fling at Pioli ... heck, it's the equivalent of sports venue monkey poo. Dont know why jaycee decided to go off on how we are trying to pick a GM after the interview. But anyway, great publicity and great job. |

So I saw Claytons post and just thought it was the song reposted since it wasn't labeled as Marty Mac's interview. My bad. That's what it looked like to me.
Great job Marty. Well spoken and well done. |

Quick math looks like the Chiefs and Royals make about the same on parking through the year not counting special events and college football.

Another interesting tidbit I got from tonight. Danni Boatwright was a co-host so naturally Casey is there. Guess who has been in touch asking if he wants to come snap to Cassel? He told me, "They have a lot more problems than a 39 year old center will help." Then we talked about how much real talent they have on paper and how it's ridiculous that they're 1-6. Had a real nice chat for a few minutes before I excused myself. Good old Iowa boy.

Just remember guys refer to the facts and stats and something different, because you'll get the "True Fan" question/rebuttal every time. Like that some fans have been fans longer than Clark and Pioli been alive and a generation of fans are being lost because losing has been a constant since they've been alive. |
Disrespecting the Chiefs? Seriously. The fans are still there. They are still cheering for the Chiefs. They are just not wearing red. That isn't disrespect.
