Eifert just had a chance to make a hell of a snag but couldn't quite pull it in on a corner route.
The QBs are missing this throw like crazy. I know Bray is one of the throwers, as was Vandenberg. In either event, the TEs didn't get many chances to show their form. |

I like 225, they just need to make sure these guys aren't cheating their weight up. |
Quote:
They don't push on defensive linemen once and then go to the sideline, they do it over and over and over. 225 is a great place to look at their strength AND their endurance. |
Quote:
I think they got it right at 225. |
Mayock believes two guards should go in the top 10-15. lol.

It's like the collective football world has lost its mind. Has the last couple of seasons of young QBs just sent them all over the nostalgia cliff? It's like it's 1975 all over again. |
Taking Shields in the first is one of the best moves Carl ever made, so you have to give credit where it's due.

Is Mayock trying to work his way out of football this offseason? This genuinely makes no sense whatsoever.
|
It makes sense. I mean David DeCastro was the best guard prospect in 20 years, and he went in the top five last year. It's not Mayock's fault the bar has been set so high.

Tavon Austin did 14 reps. Not bad for a little guy.
TJ Moe did twenty-****ing-six. :o |

I remember when Mayock's word was gold around here in 2009. The guy has always been a ****ing charlatan, and he always will be.

What time do the Que Bee's and Rawning Backs, and whyd receivers begin workouts tomorrow?
|
You know what would be epic and is actually something that could happen? Coming out of the 3rd round with Jarvis Jones and Bacarri Rambo.

Oh hai guys!
Geno - 4.56 |

Oh for ****'s sake, everybody else is doing it. Why can't I? |

His official time was the exact same as Cam Newton's.
He's as fast as Cam, he's a better passer than Cam and he's a better citizen than the computer thief. Yet he's not a worthwhile #1 overall pick...yeah right. |
for those of you who have it, geno smith coming up on nfln.
interviewing with rich and the boyz!!!!!!!! |
He was also the best of the passers today. He was doing a really nice job on those deep fades and apart from one throw where he put it a bit behind the guy on a sideline route (though Irvin said they were being instructed to do that), he was balls on all day.
Wilson looked pretty awful. He was slow, he was erratic. If the scouts care at all about today's performance, Wilson played himself out of the 1st today. Manuel looked much better than I expected him to look, he made some nice deep throws. I thought Bray looked better than the guys on TV did. Scott actually looked pretty solid, but not as athletic as I'd hoped. Mostly I think Geno made it very very clear that he was the definitive best QB on the field. Barkley's pro-day and interviews could make it interesting, but the other guys are well in the rearview. |
geno did say he met with the chefs, along with 10 other teams including the raiders and stillers.
that's about all they talked with him. of course they pimped his interview that will be aired with mariucci at 6pm central tonight. for those who care. sorry if Q. |

Geno is going to be the pick. The new regime isn't dumb enough to pass on him. |
Ezekiel Ansah just ran a 4.62 at 6-5 270.
|
Dion Jordan 4.53. Holy smokes.
|
How about Margus Hunt? 4.65 at 277. Also 38 reps of 225. Damn.
|
Quote:
|
Margus Hunt at 2.1. Make it happen.
|
Can't take Hunt.
We're using that 2.1 to trade up and draft Ryan Nassib. |
I would love to get Dion Jordan at 2.2
|
Dion Jordan concerns me. I watched his stanford game and Zach ****ing Ertz dominated him. He lost contain on several plays and didn't make a single impact play all game, for example.

Could see him go as high as #2. Would be a great fit in Jacksonville. |
Bark Mingo with a 4.53. Beast.

Sheldon Richardson ran a 5 flat. So much for him being a freak.
|
4.79 for Werner. Just OK.
|
Mingo looks like he's trying out for the nba not the Nfl
|
Scott Wright @DraftCountdown
The #NFLCombine has not been kind to #TexasA&M DE Damontre Moore. Only did 12 reps in bench press, ran a 4.9 then got hurt. |

BPA in round two for the Chiefs?

Who's the new guy spotting on the bench? Seems like you might want a younger/stronger guy in that spot, there were several shaky spots when the guys maxed out.
|
I like Dion Jordan a lot.
I've heard people say Mingo would be a bust. But personally I think Moore will be the bust. |

If we do the foolish thing and pass on Smith, then Floyd needs to be the guy they go after instead. |
Barkevious Mingo looked absolutely balls out in the drills.
|
My ILB hope Jon Bostic just ripped off a 4.50 in the 40.
|
Manti Te'o in the 4.8 range, fyi.
|
many good players to choose from with our #2...
|
4.81 LMAO
**** Mayock and all the Teo pimps. |
I think this drops him out of the 1st round; he's shorter' smaller & slower than everyone thought.
|
Cornelius Washington, OLB/DE Georgia, is absolutely tearing up the 40. 4.50 and 4.53.
Problem is, the guy has no football instincts. |

Teo looks like shit at the combine. No way he goes in the top 100.

@RavensInsider Former LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu bench presses 225 pounds 4 times
|
Quote:
I know you don't have to be cock-strong to be a nickle and punt returner, but if he'd have been hitting the gym over the last 9 months, he'd have done better than that. A 4 is a result of simple laziness. At that point it's less of a physical result and more of an indication as to what kind of drive he has and whether he's able to self-motivate. With that score, he falls to UDFA status in my world. |
Mathieu should be scratched off the list at this point. I agree with what you are saying.

The CoMo curse is nearly complete.
