Barkley has more leadership skills and far more experience, but he's lacking an NFL arm and the shoulder injury isn't likely to improve it.

As I mentioned earlier, I've seen people compare Barkley to Chad Pennington, which is great, if you want Chad Pennington as your quarterback.

If he could have stayed healthy, Pennington would have won some big games.

I'd rather have a rookie Chad Pennington than a 29 year old Alex Smith.

but, i get what you are saying. its truth, but i was just pointing out how those players have faired. I dont think barkley is on a completely different level than those guys. Im just not impressed with him....
