If so, I may consider it. |

Personally, I like Browns chances of hanging around on the roster a hell of a lot better. |

"Team X cut Shitty Useless Former 1st Rounder Veteran! We're short at that position! Bring him in for a look!" |
Braylon sucks and doesn't fit the offense.
|
Chris Hope must have nothing left in the tank
he would have been a good backup safety here |

Braylon Edwards would be a horrible fit for this offense

Brett Wain released by Seahawks. Dorsey had him in GB. Wonder if hell get a look
|
Who are you guys cutting at WR to bring in these guys?
Wylie is the new special teams guy, apparently. He's not going. I think Jenkins sucks dick, but apparently Reid likes him. He's not going. I guess Hemingway? Honestly, I'd rather have Hemingway than Swain. WTF has Swain ever done to deserve a spot? |

This isn't a very official thread. No structure. Each team and division is not represented. This is horrible.

Patriots cut Ras-I Dowling. Good thing they always have extra picks, because they ****ing suck at drafting.

1. Patriots player sucks, gets cut. 2. Said player flies to Kansas City, becomes "right 53." |

"America." "Right. Anyway, we're probably gonna be doing some things differently from Andy was. So, why don't you just start by telling us the kind of philosophy/scheme/play design you've been working on and we'll go from there, okay?" "America." "Okay...." *Begins to brush his hair* "This is long hair!" "It's very long hair. So, how involved do you say Brad Childress and the spread team is? A lot of read-option work? That might help us to figure out where to start acclimating you." "HAWKEYES!" "Uh huh..." "Wait! I thought of something!" "Good, Ricky." *digs into pocket. Pulls out American flag hairbrush.* "Okay, let's try this. You tell us what Andy Reid is going to gameplan for the first quarter, and I'll give you a cookie." "Amer-" "Don't say America." Hasn't Dowling played like 7 games in 2 years or something? Is he any good?

The Union-Tribune San Diego expects the Chargers to release WR Robert Meachem.
Meachem is expected to be cut despite having a fully guaranteed $5 million base salary. He's played exclusively with the second-team offense in training camp and has just three catches for 59 yards through three preseason games. The Chargers are set to move forward with Seyi Ajirotutu as their No. 5 receiver. Dan DePalma (shoulder) and Mike Willie (knee) were placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Gabbert is a little banged up so yeah camp arm while Scott and Henne get 2nd and 1st team reps respectively. But I won't not say....YEEEEE-HHHHAAAAAWWWWW!!!!

I cant off the top of my head in the last 15 years think of one true playmaking wide receiver from Tennessee at the next level. Donte Stallworth? Meachem? Markus Nash? People thought Da'Rick Rodgers would be good, and hes already cut, Justin Hunter has been less than impressive for the titans, (he was pick 34 by the way) and people think Cordarelle Patterson is going to be a best, we will see. |

Unless you're going to let him run go routes all day, you're just not going to get much out of him, even if healthy. |
Looks like the Patriots are letting go of both Daniel Fells and Jake Ballard, both TE's.
That's from Rappoport and some other local honk. |
looks like we need to add a quality TE and CB
hoping a few good players get released that we can grab |
Trent Edwards, Edwin Williams among Bears cuts
Posted by Josh Alper on August 30, 2013, 1:45 PM EDT Cleveland Browns v Chicago Bears Getty Images The list of former Bears continues to grow. Quarterback Jordan Palmer, tackle J’Marcus Webb and safety Brandon Hardin were among the early names to emerge as cuts in Chicago and Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that four other players have been told that they’ll be released. Quarterback Trent Edwards and offensive lineman Edwin Williams are the two biggest names of that group. Edwards signed with the Bears a couple of weeks ago along with Palmer following the injury suffered by prospective third quarterback Matt Blanchard. Edwards played one game with the Eagles in 2012, his first game action since splitting the 2010 season with the Jaguars and Bills. The former Buffalo first-round pick may get more looks from quarterback-needy teams, but he may also be at the end of the line of his NFL career. With Palmer and Edwards gone, Jay Cutler and Josh McCown are the only quarterbacks on the Chicago roster. That makes them a team to watch when it comes to adding a quarterback in the next few days. Williams started 12 games for the Bears over the last three years and played in 14 others as a reserve on the interior of the line. The arrivals of Matt Slauson and Kyle Long likely contributed to his departure, although Williams’ experience will probably put him on the radar of teams with needs on the line. The Bears are also cutting ties with linebacker Jerry Franklin and wide receiver Brittan Golden. |
Garay would make a good backup NT
|
holy lol Stanzi survived by doing nothing
Jags cut Scott and Kafka wow |
I thought we would hear about more cuts today, even thought the deadline is 24 hours. I would love to see Tebow cut, and please don't bring him in for a look.
|
Yup Stanzi survived...future Jags Franchise QB. LMAO
Hope he plays week 1. |
Danny Noble was cut, he looked like the best of the TE's that Tampa had.

Robinson is a good young receiver he just got caught up in a numbers game.
We had 4 WR's who were LOCKS to make the team (Decker, Thomas, Welker and Trindon Holliday) Bubba Caldwell is a big and fast WR we signed as insurance in-case DT or Decker got hurt. Bubba would probably start for the Chiefs as your #2 WR (he'd be the fastest player on your offense outside of Charles). We also spent a 5th round pick on Tavarres King so it would be tough to justify cutting him. Elway is hoping that Robinson clears waivers and would definitely be added to our Practice Squad if nobody picks him up. |
