The Goodcents here loads on the meat. I eat there a lot though so maybe they're nice considering I'm loyal. Sadly I eat there so much for lunch the people that work there know who I am and know what I want since I only order the same thing usually.
Pennyclub is now on their $5 footlong list, when it didn't used to be on there....Pennyclub w/ standard dress and provolone cheese on wheat. That's the good stuff man. Goodcents bread trumps the other guy's bread. Subway bread is ****ing awful and Jimmy Johns just sucks as a whole. Used to live behind one (literally in my backyard) when I was living in Columbia and I ate there a lot because coming home drunk from the bars at 1-2am with the munchies they were still open, very convenient I must say at the time lol, but I've grown to hate it now because I've gotten tired of it. Though I've never had Casey's subs so I'll have to check them out sometime. Love their pizza by the slice on the go. Dunno If I'd order a full one though...usually if I want hot fresh pizza from a restaurant I'll pay the extra money so I can have really kickass pizza like from Tim's or Funhouse. Or just the $1 Totino's frozen pizzas at the local HyVee. |
I've had good luck with the Casey's BLT. I don't know how but they've managed not to give me that heart attack.
super awesome, I'm with you George |

I trust a gas station as much as any fast food window. Probably more. |
holy balls...I forgot about that new (or, 'new to my knowledge') Casey's near 79th and Quivera. Rock on. I'm scoring some pizza there this weekend..
|
I don't know if they're doing subs here yet. I'll have to check.
It'll be hard to beat Subshop in this area... |

When I went to college in Warrensburg, I worked at a Casey's part time...the job pretty much sucked balls, but the pizza perks were awesome!! |
yeah, I used to get a few slices every Saturday after mowing the lawn. The place was literally about a 1/2 (if that) from my house.
|
We need a Caseys in Nashville, a QuickTrip too. The convenience stores here suck Tebow balls.

Casey's uses a lot of ethanol in their gasoline because the company is based in Iowa.

My favorite caseys pizza is just beef. Ironicall
Ironically, I don't think I've ever had their Pepperoni. |
I'm so hungry I could eat a sandwich from a gas station.

That Diamond Shamrock/Valero on 6th in KCMO up from Grand Slam churned out some of the best fried food I've had. Two types of chicken strips, mini tacos, burritos, tri tators, jalapeno poppers, you name it, they fried it. I think it's a Phillips 66 now, but I haven't been inside in years to know if they still do it.

Just ordered a chicken bacon ranch. Will report back with results~

Very good, sauce was flavorful but not overpoweringly ranch, big pieces of chicken and bacon. Tons of cheese. Could have used 2 more minutes in the oven. |
Score out of 10?

They have some beautiful newer stores in small towns here in Illinois. I have never had the sandwiches, but the stuff looks as good or better than Subway. We aren't talking about out of the beer cooler ham and cheese. I just don't think the pizza is all that like some say. |

I'd eat at the Wal-Green's sushi bar long before I'd eat food from a gas station.

He ate a sandwich out of a gas station which was infested with worms which made him super strong/smart etc. That is what I was referring too. |

Needed that 2 extra minutes because it was so bacony and cheese the center was a little underdone. Had that been done an 8.5 . Better than Pizza Huts version. |

I seriously can't figure out why Pizza Hut is even in business. |

I'll eat food from a gas station before I'll eat anything from a fast food window. And grocery store/drug store sushi can be like...playin roulette, y'know. |

And Lutz's is baller. Different, but baller. |
The shawarma at Papu's Cafe is off the chain.

Sub Way was good then they had more 5$ footlongs, now the have taken most of the good choices off that list.
|
Lutz is good because they use all Burgers Smokehouse stuff~ Its all in the meat!
And yes, I had leftover Casey's Pizza for lunch~ |

Their bacon is the shit, though. Love that stuff. |

Pizza
Out here in Denver we have very few Casey's. Up on the north end of town we have Ricca Pizza. This guy knows how to cook a mean pie. He is from Chicago but he knows most of us out here like a thinner crust. Shit, I could go to the store and get a loaf of bread and put sauce on it. That don't make a pizza!
|
Broke down and tried a sub at Casey's just out of curiosity, and it wasn't bad! I tried their Club Combo, and they definitely weren't skimpy on the meat. From the side, it was 2/3 meat and cheese to 1/3 veggies, which is the inverse of what you typically get at Subway or the others.
Definitely a solid "bang for your buck" alternative if you just want a basic sub. |

God dammit. Every time I catch this thread out of the corner of my eye I think that Casey Anthony has finally made some pron.

it's like $9 for a sammich/fries... and I'm sure that Lutz's rolls through enough that they get a discount on bulk. |
