Seriously, though. Might as well put him and McLovin' out there and see what they can do. It seems like Wilson had a garbage line at Arkansas as well. It looked like he was running for his life a lot. Although when Veldheer and Pashos come back, he'll have a much better line than Pryor did. What if Tyler starts vs. the Chiefs? Who will you cheer for then? |

One of their best players. Very underrated RT @RAIDERS: The Raiders have activated T @Veldheer68 and waived QB Tyler Wilson. |
Is he talking about Veldheer?

I never really liked his game but would have been happy with him in the 4th. Amazing. |
I think chokeland is just really surprised by McGroin and they took a dump on Wilson...

You guys are lost... Wilson has been on our practice squad all year with the exception of one game he was called up to back up McGloin when Pryor was deactivated while hurt...
Wilson is not a good prospect at QB and if he was as good as people think he is, he damn well would have been plucked off the Raiders practice squad months ago. McGloin is the future of the Raiders... That kid is green but he is a good player... His height is his only flaw. He will be back on the Practice Squad in a few days, Bank on it. |

I'm just glad to see that the ghost of Al Davis is alive and well. That team will forever be a dumpster fire.

The truth is the Raiders are being run much diffrently! You may be right about the dumpster fire though because they're fielding a team with only half their cap space this year. |

This really puts a cramp in us trading for him.

Just pick him up off our practice squad next week, he will be there. |

http://espn.go.com/blog/oakland-raid...-wilson-a-blow ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Sure, the Oakland Raiders losing quarterback Tyler Wilson to the Tennessee Titans is a blow… on the surface. But it’s not all that embarrassing, or unexpected. Not when the Raiders gave up on the fourth-round draft pick from Arkansas so soon and cut him not once, at the end of training camp, but again on Nov. 27 and not a single team took a chance on him. Either time. Until Tuesday afternoon, when the Titans made the move official. It was obvious the Raiders did not see a future with Wilson, who was active twice this season but never got into a game. So the Titans signing him to their active 53-man roster off the Raiders’ practice squad actually spares Oakland the indignity of having to cut him a third time. General manager Reggie McKenzie and coach Dennis Allen have obviously already admitted they erred in selecting Wilson with the No. 112 overall draft pick by cutting him a couple of times. Remember, the Raiders initially targeted USC quarterback Matt Barkley at the start of the fourth round. But when the Philadelphia Eagles traded two spots in front of Oakland to draft Barkley, the Raiders traded back 12 slots and took Wilson. And with Wilson drafted, he was the second new Raiders quarterback in four weeks, after Matt Flynn was acquired earlier in the month. Neither is in Oakland now. Wilson appeared in two exhibition games after falling behind undrafted rookie Matt McGloin and completed 11 of 18 passes for 93 yards. Obviously, McKenzie’s skill as a QB evaluator has come under scrutiny. “Hey, listen, sometimes things don’t work out,” Allen said Monday, before Wilson was claimed by the Titans. “Sometimes mistakes are made. But I don’t think that’s, listen, I’m confident in Reggie McKenzie and the personnel staff in being able to evaluate football players, quarterbacks, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, I’m very confident in his ability to do that, I’m very confident in our ability as a coaching staff to be able to do that.” Now we’ll see if the Titans’ staff can develop Wilson. |
He's a stopgap until locker is unhurt.

Thank God Tyler doesn't have to go through a horrible life with the Raiders. If he gets his foot in a few games with the Titans he'll be their QB forever.
|
This will probably jumpstart tylers career since the raiders can't evaluate talent worth a shit. Starting Mcgloin, Marcel Reece hardly gets touches...
Wilson may be a backup in Ten soon |
