I think the Chiefs’ defense will play Peyton differently when they meet in Arrowhead Stadium in two weeks. Regardless of last night’s outcome, the Chiefs still have a chance to win the division. Beat the Broncos at home in two weeks and your team will have the inside track with four games to play. |

NFL.com description of the last play: L. Blount up the middle for –6 yds.
"Up"? Ah. They corrected it. It was +4 yds. |

"I've never even seen defensive backs run to the ball that fast!"
Jon Gruden really is unbearable at times. He's so sensational. |

Just a friendly reminder after watching Chandler Jones, who is 2nd in the league for sacks by a 4-3 DE, split a double as an interior pass-rusher to bring down Newton by himself: PFF says that he is actually a detriment to the Patriots as a pass-rusher.
PFF - still very stupid, very often. |

That's not what they're saying. Overall they've given him high grades, but a couple of bad games are skewing his data right now. Look at the week by week breakdown. |

Last time he was on MNF, Talib embarrassed KU by not saying he played there. This time, he embarrassed them by saying he did.

My point is that they're disproportionately aggressive about taking points away in PFF. In a game where he had 2 sacks, a QB hit and 4 QB hurries, he gained a whopping .6 in pass-rush score. In another game with 2 sacks, 2 hits and 5 pressures he gained 1 and in another 2 sack game he again gained 1. In the 2 games this season where he's not secured a sack he's yielded a negative 6.1 score in total. Hell, in a game where he had 2 sacks and 2 hurries they gave him a negative grade. So in a game where he actually earned 2 sacks and 2 hurries, he gave up all the progress he made in the game with 2 sacks and 4 hurries (yeah, that makes sense). Worse still, in the 2 games where he committed the unpardonable sin of not sacking the QB, he lost more than twice as many points as he gained in those 3 games where he accumulated 6 sacks, 4 hits and 11 hurries. When the aggregate score is wholly useless, then perhaps you should change your scoring system. PFF's aggregate scores are simply not useful at all. |

Oh wait, no I won't. I'll have Robert Quinn, Gerald McCoy, Jared Odrick, Chandler Jones and Robert Irvin chasing you sonsabitches around all year. I've thrown so many resources at building this pass-rush over the last 2 years (2 first round draft picks plus a first round player in Cameron Jordan, MJD, Heath Miller and a 3rd rounder) - if I can't get to the damn QB this year, I'll give up and concede that I have no idea what I'm doing. |

Julius Peppers is now a brokedick, and Tom Brady isn't what he was. And CJ Spiller hasn't done jack this year. I'm thinking I have a wild-card team at best now. |

But we suck at that. |
We could use a bauce TE or three

LMAO Madden football there.

I do love a mobile QB sometimes.

Trade our next three 1st rounders for Cam LMAO

Actually you probably can't even do that in Madden.

What a run.

He may be a year away yet, but I think that Portland is as much a challenge in that division as anyone. I have some spare CBs, but I can't get on the same page as him for a trade - he's weak where I'm looking for guys. |

Belichick benches Ridley for fumbling the ball. Pats would most likely be ahead if not for the fumble. Charles Johnson was possibly leg-whipped and injured on the play. Great running by Cam... Steve Smith is in Talib's head and doing an good job beating him. |
Panthers looking impressive.

Talib don't want it

The Bears ****ed up letting Olsen go.

Someone, can't remember who at the moment, once said;
Geno > Cam Who was that?? :hmmm: |

Kuechly over Poe would've made us a substantially worse football team. The upgrade at ILB would've been over our 2-down backer in Akeem Jordan and we'd be starting Toribio at NT. Nope, in this case it appears Pioli clearly made the right call. |

Johnson coming back.
*phew* |
Charles Johnson to return back to the game.
What a pussy. Goes off on a cart, back in the game a 15 minutes later. That's some Paul Pierce shit right there... |

Jericho Cotchery and Tony Gonzalez aren't going to save you this time. BTW - I'll see your Cotchery pickup with Walter Thurmond. The guy's going to be a legitimate starting caliber CB and I got him for $1 right before he started getting significant PT. And unlike Cotchery, his matching rights next year may actually be worth something. |

Did they just call the Panthers D the best in the NFL?

Alex Smith isn't going to be worth shit to the god damned Rabbits this year, and you're going without Rodgers for awhile. I'll be in the mix. And I get Jason Peters back. He's had a good year. |

I wonder if he's smirking at a teammate off camera or if he was replaying in his head what he should have done when she looked at him.. LMAO |
Cam has certainly matured this year - He was always a good runner, however his accuracy in passing is most impressive this season.
Now, if only he could stop posing after every damn play he makes - LOL |

But this defense is easily at its most dynamic when it's getting push push up the middle. Honestly, I think that's the only way to beat these 'spread' style quick-passing offenses. I'd take Gerald McCoy over Bowman every single time. There's just no replacement for an interior pass rush from your down lineman. Whatever plan the QB has goes out the window immediately. |

Wow. Belichick let Ridley have another goal-line carry.
That's pretty surprising. |
Brady's still got it.
I've never been a fan of the guy, but he's ****ing mastered this sport. |
Did Danny Amendola die? I need him to not get 2 points the rest of the game in order to hang on in my fantasy matchup.
