I don't think anybody is tying a uniform to a super bowl. I think we're saying that "tradition" means little, so don't get that be a factor in modernizing the look. And if the all-red "pumped up" the players and fans thus year, it just means a new/rare look is a good thing.

The 26 year old players absolutely LOVE to play in them. They think if looks sick (which the uniforms IMO are awesome)...

I'm sure they feel more confident in them too.

It really has nothing to do with "Change to go to SB"... It's about the tradition. To say we have tradition with our uniforms is ignorant and stupid...

Well we can agree to disagree. The helmet is the most distinctive part of a football uniform and by today's standards ours is pretty drab (Sans the color), and having "KC" in it is pretty silly. So maybe not an Indian headdress, but something very cool that's loud and shows respect to the Indian nation and tribes of the US.

As are most of the alternates I've seen "designed".

I like the arrowhead logo with the KC in it and I would be sad to see it go away. I would like to see them design a helmet that incorporated some flat red and metallic red together. I would also like to see more black accents on the jerseys and the elimination if the yellow stripes on the pants.

Just thinking out loud here...What about a white helmet as an alternate?
