Moving goal posts there because you got shown the arm length numbers are not as indicative to success as you were proclaiming.

Will Walker play strictly DE? I keep wondering if we won't use Walker a lot. I could see where he could not only spell our starters at DE, if he isn't one, but also Poe on the nose. That would equate to a better rotation keeping our DL fresher.

Chiefs don't play many base fronts. I imagine he will be a huge part of the D line rotation. It's great they have guys to keep people fresh this year and that now includes OLB.

DT's arm length I believe was 35 1/8 - hard to find a confirmed measure

For the record, I dont think Ford's arm length is going to be the determining reason as to whether or not he's a boom or bust.

I still think Ford is more Dwight Freeney than DT.

Absolutely! It should make a difference.

Some people might not think that it makes much of a difference but it really does. Part of the reason why I didn't rate Ford as a top 25 player in the draft was because of that lack of arm length. He's going to have to play with perfect technique and have the best snap anticipation in the NFL if he's going to win against OTs who average over 34" in arm length.

An inch per arm, together that's two inches in bodily reach overall.

Some are not happy with the possibilities of a decent team. Some of you would rather everything be all negative because you don't want to have hope or view the Chiefs in a positive light or the hope of light.

Yeah, that's it.

OR, we've seen the exact same fail for 20 years and 1 more run through isn't going to change a ****ing thing.

It's another year us old ****s get older and have to wait for 3 COMPLETE YEARS of fail before a change is made...

If you are that gilted why keep coming back. That would be like an abused wife going back time after time after getting the shit beat out of them.

If a fan can't be positive or happy about anything what is the ****ing point? Just so a fan can spew negative shit. Why have negativity in your life much less let it consume you?

Because there are always 2x as many slobbering tards in Zubas willing to man up and support the next failed idea as dumb as the last one.

The greatest hope I've felt was after the black out and the banners and the planes flying over dropping leaflets to Pioli to surrender.

I honestly believe that Clark gets this is important and more than anything he doesn't want to **** it up.

I don't believe he's able to identify when it's ****ed up and needs an overhaul...

I hate comparisons on rookies that haven't played one down professionally yet.

We will know he made it when people years from now are comparing a recent draftee to Dee Ford and his first step.

Not at all. I said that his arm length was just one reason among others why I didn't have him ranked as a top 25 player in the draft. I also never said that he won't be successful because of it, I said it would be more difficult for him to succeed because he would have to be as close to perfect as possible in his technique and snap anticipation in order to win without the desired arm length.

Also, arm length is absolutely an important measurement, just go ask the 49ers whether or not it's important. They, and many other teams, look for OLB prospects with 34"+ arms and dock prospects heavily if they are under that.
