If you have ever tried to bake with coconut floor you know it absorbs a ton of liquid.

Yeah, you can't just sub it 1:1 for a different flour.

These GF cupcakes are amazing. Plus, to show how weird coconut flour is, you can make 12 cupcakes with only 1/2 cup of flour (no other flour used).
