Yeah im not sure why Hemmingway is a lock to make the team on everyones list. He's slow and made a handful of catches last year and now hes a lock?

Right now, my money is on: Bowe Avery Jenkins Hammond Wilson and then it's between Hemmingway/Harrison/Williams for the last spot. |

Seems crazy that we're only 2 days away from seeing the team back on the field. After watching that playoff collapse in person, this has been the longest offseason I can remember.

I just heard on 810 that they asked David Culley about Albert Wilson and he was flat out shocked that the kid wasn't drafted.
Would be awesome if Wilson and Parker became good players. |

If he was so great then why didn't the chiefs pick him up? Trade down and get extra low pick and grab him ... whatever. Hope Wilson turns out great but we hear this bullshit every TC. |
Let's all practice this together now, fellas.
It's Hemingway. One m. It's Daniel. No s at the end. Unique New York. Unique New York. Junior Hemingway. Chase Daniel. You're a fan. The least you could do is get the guy's flippin' name right. |

It will probably come down to special teams, though. I'd be happier carrying a 6th WR who can cover kicks and catch passes versus a 10th DB that only plays ST. Of course, we carried five ILB last year, and I'm not sure we will again. DJ, Mays, Johnson, Johnson. |
Micheal-johnson is an exciting player. Reid says hes amazing in coverage, so im assuming he'll play the role Berry did last year in third downs

Why? The kid looked good.

But he's still trying to come back from a surgery with a high failure rate. Really, that wasn't directed to Kelce in particular but ideas about KC's depth at TE. Fasano is just a replacement level type vet. Kelce is practically a rookie, and Harris is on year two of football PERIOD. |

I don't know of many football players that have actually had that. And, I think Fasano is an EXCELLENT back up tight end. Good blocker, decent receiver. And Harris can come along slowly. |
The supposed numbers show people who where highly successful athletes to start recover better. Most scrubs and average guys didn't come back. Maybe kelce is a killer athlete and that's just what it takes.

5 things Peter King thinks about the Chiefs...

No defenders or a line, but Cairo Santos just hit 63-yard field goal. Would love to see him hit that during the next pre season game. |

7. Peter King thinks- the Chiefs will most likely play their home games at Arrowhead. 8. Peter King thinks- the Chiefs will wear Red at some point this year. 9. Peter King thinks- the Chiefs will draft players to fill out the roster. 10. Peter King thinks- that fans might get together before games at "Arrowhead" and most likely cook food. He is calling it "Tailgating" based on the fact-some fans will have their "tailgate" on their trucks down during the process. and as a bonus... Peter King thinks- the Night games will be dark-so the Chiefs will most likely turn on the lights inside the stadium to counter the darkness. |

I'm not sure what DJ has with ol' Jaymaal but the shit is kind of annoying. He's GREAT but I don't recall him making many big hits on other guys the way he seems to home in on JC.

Look at that Sean Smith is back with the 1st team. Shocker.

Quote:
I remember he put Darren McFadden out once or twice as well. Those were pretty routine tackles, though, from what I remember. I'm talking about completely blowing somebody up. Not even injuring them but really hurting them. Making them hesitate coming across the middle or stepping into the open hole. Know what I'm saying? |
Henry working at LG with the first team. Interesting.

Found this interesting. Sutton on giving Poe some much needed rest:
“I think we’ll have some different packages maybe where we can give him a little bit of a break and keep him fresh for the entire year,” Sutton said. This is good to hear. I know a lot of people were complaining how gassed Poe looked in the later part of the season. |

Love how Kelce played in the preseason game. Blocked well, too.
I like how he's playing strong and having fun with it. Clearly 100% healthy. Sad we couldn't get that last year. |
