Kelce looked like he could really move. YAC yards by a TE add a dynamic presence to an offense. :thumb:

It was a busted play he was uncovered.

Sweet Daddy Hate 08-08-2014 11:12 AM

Bray's hand-off skills were exceptional!

True, but he still ran away from everyone. Speed is a great asset for a TE and that was my main point. Kelce showed it...It was impressive, busted play or not, especially when you consider the type of surgery he had.

His straight-line speed was a "known" going in.

Oh yeah, I know that. My point is that I was glad to see that he's showing no ill effects, (in a straight line) of his injury / type of surgery. Often not the case.

Good God man. How underwhelming was he the last time he played a full game? Such a ****ing idiot.

That was one of the few performances in the guy's career.

Oh and the Colts defense was awful.

srvy 08-08-2014 11:55 AM

Yeah Alex is the least of my worries here. He is solid never gonna be great but we can win with him.

Dinny Bossa Nova 08-08-2014 11:56 AM

DAT. I am absolutely thrilled he is a Chief.

I have heard about getting away from the cops speed, but that is the first time I have ever seen it. I bet DAT is the only human in the world to ever run that fast that didn't have Chuck Norris chasing them.

So you are knocking the guy for playing his best ball on the big stage, as he did in 2011, without Charles and Avery.... okay. That whole last half of the season was good quarterback play.

There were times during the FIRST half of the season where we saw good QB play.

Good QB play isn't always aggressive and throwing for 300 yards.

Not true. Couple of pathetic games mixed in there for sure.

OldSchool 08-08-2014 02:54 PM

Really excited by the potential of Harris and Kelce in this offense. Fasano is done after this season. I thought that Harris really looked much improved last night, he had some pretty good speed on his reception and could have blown by the DB if Bray had actually led him correctly instead of throwing the ball a bit behind him, forcing him to slow down. The future is bright at TE for us.

Stop being positive about a Chiefs player! That's not why we are here!

gblowfish 08-08-2014 03:45 PM

A couple of the cheerleaders were pretty tasty.

You need to change your tampon.

lol. Get real. Once the defense faced real Qbs, the defense stunk. The offense has how many true playmakers? JC, Alex with legs, Bowe (did he even care most of the season?) Avery. Face it, you just don't like Alex nor will see any good from his play even if it stared in your face lol.

I sometimes wonder if half the people that post here actually watch the games.

I need to change my tampon because I am not a negative Nancy?

Weird.

What you are saying is, you guys can voice your opinion how stupid it is to find the positive in 1 big play in a preseason game and that's not being bitchy.

But if I point out that's being bitchy that makes me bitchy.

He will, we have absolutely nothing in terms of competition for him aside from Sorensen.

I'm not a negative Nancy. I posted several positive comments about Alex Smith in the past couple of days. I also posted several positive comments about TRAVIS KELCE. How could that be and you not notice? Oh, I know. Because you've singled me out because you're a ****ing crybaby fanboy.

It's not my fault that you can't handle critical thinking. To you, anything short of undying unconditional devotion is "being negative".

That's a character flaw and not something I can assist you with. Whine on.

OldSchool 08-10-2014 07:58 PM

It wasn't all bad for Fisher. Nice drive block on Dunlap right here.

Is that his pancake block or have they posted a new video.

Also I re-watched most the game today and to me Fisher really wasn't to bad. The sack and fumble certainly wasn't his fault. Guard and center were pushed right into Smith. People focus intense hatred on the kid and seem to zone out whats going on in the gut of the o-line. Hudson and Allen just seem to get eaten up in the bull rush and plays down field can never materialize.

You need to buy a book and get to reading on critical thinking. You have spent too much time on CP which is causing you to try to pass off CP lingo as if it were something you actually apply.

Hudson had a few nice moments where he stonewalled Domata Peko 1 on 1. The right side was pretty bad in run blocking when the first team was out there.

He sack and fumble is on the qb in that spot. It's a quick set, balls gotta come out.

Smith even admitted that in an interview.

Fisher played better than he has been accused of.

O.city 08-10-2014 09:05 PM

It's interesting to me that people are upset with the youth movement. The unknown sucks, but it seems there's potential there for it to turn out very well.

OldSchool 08-10-2014 09:08 PM

I'll hold my judgement on Fisher until the end of this season. If he performs reasonably well against the monsters that he'll be facing this season ( Quinn, Campbell, Smith, etc) then he should be fine going forward. I just hope he stays healthy so we can get an accurate gauge of his abilities.

Yep unless he is just flat getting eaten on a bun.

Its not the kids fault he got drafted 1st overall. If the Chiefs knew then what they know now in Stephenson the Fisher pick would never have happened. It did and im going to be hopeful it works out.

I don't agree.

They walked into that draft with the priority of replacing Albert.

Trent Green said as much during the broadcast. But what does he know, it's not like he was an NFL QB or anything.

Fisher did what he was supposed to do on that play.

DaKCMan AP 08-12-2014 10:03 AM

Not really impressed by these guys because I knew who they were and what they could do:

De'Anthony Thomas
Jaye Howard
James-Michael Johnson

One guy who I've heard about but hadn't seen is Demetrius Harris. I want to see more! Albert Wilson too.
