NICE RIP HOS
Great hit, Hos.
2-0 |
Were gonna need a 7 run lead
BOOM! Nice rip, Hos.
If I were another team, I would pitch Cain low and inside every ****ing pitch. Dude can't hit it and can't lay off it.
The bash bros at it again!!!
OMG another hit batter! Bring on the retaliation!
Vargas gets through this inning without blowing the lead and it will be the longest he has held a league all season
There is a reason the Indians are 6-11.. their defense is awful.
0-2 to 3-2 on Avilles...and he walked him...again
Perez would've looked great wearing Chief Wahoo. /Hud
THROW. SOME. MOTHER****ING. STRIKES.
7 no, now 8 straight balls..back-back walk with a 2 run lead
Throw strikes, homie.
**** YOU JASON.
Vargas looking to blow the lead like Vargas
Sorry about the mid-game outage. Wasn't planned but I took the opportunity to patch things and speed us up a tiny bit.

Lewdog starts a game thread, Royals deliver.
Lewdog owns a sweet Moose jersey, Moose delivers. Lewdog starts his first game thread of the year, Chiefsplanet fails. |
Moose is a stud.
Someone must have finally killed that drum guy. Thank gawd we don't have to listen to that shit anymore. I hope

Your a God just like I said. |
I'm enjoying all this "boring" baseball. It's nice to win and not be on edge like we were against the A's and Sox.

Literally nothing you can do as a hitter in that AB.

Impressive bounceback win
Vargas beats Kluber, just like everyone predicted.
So the game in Baltimore got cancelled tonight.

Good thing Lewdog had faith tonight, the will to post a game thread before midnight and had no sand in his vagina.
Boo-ya!!! |

Just caught the eighth and ninth innings and saw the Moose highlights. Awesome to see him have that night. Fangraphs had an article on him last week.

BTW, shortest GDT all year. Stupid bandwagon fans jumping off after 2 losses. :)
Wade threw that called 3rd on the second out and just turned all cocky ass back to 2nd base before the call was even made. Awesome
I hate playing Cleve. Their douche manager makes sooooooo many pitching changes the games take forever. Hey Tito: you weren't winning tonight. Let it go |
The Planet should be broken for every game.

Plus it was in the 40s. Be curious to see how the experiment goes, and if it catches on anywhere else. |
The stream I was watchin was of the Indians announcers. They made sure to bring up that the Royals and Indians weren't all that far off from each other defensively. Love that they mentioned that as error after error piled up and we dominated.
Yay us...

I'm impressed with his work ethic and the ability in one off season to go back to basics so quick, his plate discipline is great. |

2 runs on four hits for the Indians...still 10 pages of Pete bitching about Vargas while he got the win against the reigning Cy Young winner.
Detroit up 5-3
2-2 on this road trip seems a little better beating Kluber and Sale. Those other 2 games they just let get away.
Detroit up 5-4
Soria in to close.

I enjoyed reading, for the second straight week, a Fantasy-geared article suggesting that owners should sit Moose because he's not going to have a good week hitting.
To quote Josh Vernier, #middlefingers all around. |

If Madson continues to pitch the way he has, he could certainly bring a solid prospect near the trade deadline.
That being said, you're the Royals, the defending AL Champs and you're now competing for championships. No reason to trade him. With a bullpen of Hoch, Madson, Frasor, Herrera, Davis & Holland, the opposition literally has almost zero chance from inning 6 on. All your starters have to do is give you 5 solid innings and then you can put it on cruise control. Takes so much pressure off the starters. What a luxury to have. |
Yes, but the Royals are going to have to rely on their farm system to sustain success. If you have a plethora of relief guys and an opportunity for continued success I think you take that opportunity. I wouldn't advocate to trade anyone close to a core player. If you have excess pieces you have to consider it.
Jon Lovitz pitched a helluva game last night, outside of that two run bomb.
