*Oh Tulo, dude is a ****ing beast/gamer. Last night in his debut he went 3/5 with 1 HR, 3 RBIS and 3 Rs.

And it's not just the stats that speak for the excitement but it's his presence. I went to the game last night and that guy exerts an energy that just takes the competitiveness of this team to another level.

So statistically speaking, he is good for about 70 percent of a season. And I'm fine with that. Bluejays got good depth along the infield anyways with Ryan Goins, Danny Valencia and Muneri Kawasaki.

But that's American. Converted to metric, you're looking at about 100 games.

When you got starting pitching that is ranked 24th overall in MLB and a bullpen that has blown 16 saves and a record of 10-23 in 1 run ball games, you could have the leagues best offense but at the end of the day, it balances out where the pitching brings you down to even keel.

The Royals have one of the worst starting pitching rotations in the AL prior to Cueto coming here but yet there destroying everyone. Because it's about defense and hitting for average. You guys might hit a lot of home runs but you also strikeout a lot. It's not gonna get you guys anywhere

No doubt. I expect Colorado to really nosedive without the energy he exerts.

Here's how it will play out.

Tulo snaps legs playing on their shitty playing surface up in Canada. Season ending injury.

Donaldson tests positive for PEDs, suspended before playoffs.

Here is my prediction:

Bluejays play the Royals in game 7 of the ALCS and Johnny Cueto can't pitch because he got the stomach flu and so Chris Young comes in and pitch 4 innings and gives up 9 runs. He just simply couldn't contain the Bluejays offense and so your bullpen comes in but David Price was also too much for the Royals that day as he pitch a 1 hit complete game shutout. Sorry Lewdog.

Exactly, and you don't see the MLB beating down Vancouver or Montreal's door to bring teams there because none of the 30 million people in Canada give a shit about baseball.

Meanwhile, Winnipeg has a hockey team again. So there's that.

No they don't. And even if they did, perhaps it would have something to do with the fact that their "local market" is an entire country?

Meanwhile, they're getting outdrawn by small markets including Kansas City, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh, among others.

Among other surprises, through Sept. 23, Toronto Blue Jays games on Rogers Sportsnet were up 13 percent, averaging 590,000 viewers, despite the team’s sub-par season (Rogers does not provide average number of households.)
How do you know it is "by far the highest in baseball" if Rogers does not provide the average number of households and the Jays are not part of the equation?

How can you win regularly and have a record 1 game over .500? Maybe you meant intermittently.

In any case, the Jays are in just about exactly the same position as the Royals were this time last year (and nobody was going to the games then in KC either...20K last July 30 for KC, the Jays had 30K tonight).
