Who badmouthed crinkle cut fries? Shame on you damned you straight to hell. Its a perfectly designed fry for dip especially a thinner sauce like hot sauce or a thinner BBQ sauce. Steak fries, wedges, regular cut, shoestring and curly q have one thing in common its a potato deep fried in oil. Done right the crinkle always seems the crunchiest even having set for a while. Personally my least favorite fry is the steak or wedge not enough crunch and to much potato would rather go a baker instead.

Oh and everything on the plate look pretty damn good to me.

The reason for that is the crinkles create more surface area to directly come into contact with the hot oil.

Much like the appeal a waffle has. Or waffle fries for that matter.

I kind of like Zaxby's Zensation Zalad, but honestly prefer Panera's Thai Chicken Salad.

Only had Zaxby's once. They are all out in the suburbs here and not close to me. Seemed very similar to Cane's but more options if you wanted them.

Zaxby's is a guilty pleasure I indulge once every two years or so.

Yes - Zax sauce is interesting. Not appealing to the eye, tasty with fries, but still strange. I usually alternate between Zax sauce and ketchup for the fries.

People around here brag about it often, everytime I go there it does not live up to the hype. It isn't bad, but I would rank it below KFC and rank it far below Popeyes. Popeyes did live up to the hype when I went there.

To each their own. To me, Zax is higher quality than both Popeyes (which I've had once) and especially KFC (which I haven't touched in probably 10 or more years).

Here in KC I head for 'Go Chicken Go' when I want some yardbird.

Never heard of Zaxby's, but we just recently got a Krispy Krunchy chicken here. It sucks.

My wife spent some time in the South and swears that it's awesome.

If what they serve is chicken tenders like the picture in the OP, no thanks, I'm not 5 years old, I can eat a real piece of chicken.
